Quiet old farmhouse with a central courtyard and surrounded by Orange Groves. Very calm peaceful and relaxing. Nice pool and surrounding gardens. Is is further out of town ( a short walk), but that is what makes it more peaceful. Fantastic staff. Very welcoming, kind and helpful. We arrived very late on a Tuesday evening/early on a Wednesday morning due to our train being delayed by the prevous days power issues and still recived a warm welcome for the housekeeper who had stayed up to wiat for us. Also recieved a nice message from the owner. More like staying as a guest at someones home rather than staying at a hotel. Would definately stay again and recommend to others - didnt want to leave.

Only 2 very minor things :- 1 - Would have liked a more up to date TV in the room. With options to connect to Netflix etc. 2 - Shutters/Windows rattled a bit and kept us awake for a short while on one slightly windy evening.

The property and gardens are absolutely beautiful. It is so close to the old town and yet really peaceful. The house is beautifully maintained and the rooms are spacious, clean, well laid out and we really appreciated the private terrace looking out over the gardens. Pablo and Celia gave us such a warm welcome and were so helpful and lovely. They really are at the top of our list of reasons why we loved our stay so much. The property provides large private space to guests and also the freedom to use the communal spaces and gardens as you wish, making the stay relaxing.

Exceptional. Lovely house, every facility we wanted and more. The beds were superbly comfortable, the shower was hot and strong, the breakfast was so plentiful and fresh it was a delight. To be able to use the kitchen was an unexpected and great addition. We were able to eat in if we wanted. It's a very old house but it is maintained to the highest standard and spotlessly clean. The staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Definitely a place to stay again.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like. Everything was exceptional.

Absolutely beautiful property which was well maintained and was in a quiet rural location. The view from my room was stunning and everyone made me feel very welcome. I even got a lift back to Gandia train station. Pablo was so friendly and helpful. I can only highly recommend this place and will definitely like to visit again.

As I had no personal transportation it was a bit of a far walk to the town centre and definitely to the beach. The public transport in the town is not very good so you will definitely need a car if you like your comfort.

The property itself was wonderful! My room was a suite, and couldn’t be any better. The room was very big, nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast was great!! Fresh products and a healthy breakfast, +++ fresh pressed orange juice. What was even better than all the above was the people working there. They were sooooo nice and kind - you could literally ask for anything. I would recommend the place so much!!

The room was great but the beds were a touch too hard for me. Next to that, the room was a little noisy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and very welcoming on arrival. The breakfast choices were excellent - something to suit everyone. There was an honesty bar which was a nice touch if you hadn't been to the shops. There were also cooking facilities and fridge space so that you were able to cater for light lunches/suppers.

Fortunately we booked a non-pet room but this should be checked in advance if allergies etc. There appeared to be a lot of guests with dogs, which would not be our preference due to allergies, but would suit many.

Beautiful oasis - clean and comfortable with amazing gardens, pool area and public spaces. Access to a shared kitchen and facilities is a really good touch and enhances the feeling that you’re in a private country house.

Nothing. Don’t be put off by the approach to the property through the brickworks - the chimneys are designed to lean!

Fabulous old Finca full of wonderful old pictures, books, antiques, history of the place , lovely pool & gardens. The staff were absolutely fantastic, Thelia, Rosa & everyone we came across, it was just like staying in a family home. The place was spotless with real attention to detail in every respect.

From the moment we arrived at El SEQUER, we were made to feel at home. Pablo told us about the history of his family home and kindly informed us about placces of interest to visit during our stay. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The location of this house in beautiful olive groves is exceptional and although you are right next to the town of Oliva, it feels as if you are in the middle of the countryside. A great breakfast makes a good start to every day.We couldn't have asked for more and will definitely repeat the experience.

Everything was to our liking. No complaints.

Beautiful old house with lovely historic family touches - photographs, books, furniture. All set in splendid grounds, with a nice pool though a touch cold for a swim at this time of year! (Nov) The breakfast offering with eggs cooked to order was perfect. Being able to use kitchen/fridge for drinks and to heat a 'ready meal' was brilliant for me as a solo traveller in the winter.
