Juan has fashioned a brilliant hotel that serves as not just a relaxing and comfortable property, but as a property that has direct access to the the ancient city of Old Pals but also to nearby towns and communities through out Gerona. If you have the spectacular chance to stay at Arkhé, it will always be a great memory which is the case of my visit to Pals but also Verges during Maundy Thursday. As Arkhé’s guest we were treated very kind by the staff and we have found it to be one of the most hospitable places in the area without a doubt.

We enjoyed the peaceful setting so what is not to like?

A peaceful & unique haven, attentive and kind staff. Totally relaxed atmosphere, beautifully comfortable suite with luxury linen. Breakfast was fresh and so many options on offer. Great attention to detail & specials requests met with great care. We really enjoyed our stay & highly recommend Arkhe.

The place is great. All the ammenities you'd expect in a 1700 building that is constantly mentained. The staff and owners are welcoming and friendly, the place is quiet and well positioned to visit the old Pals but also to enjoy roaming to various beaches and towns arround.

Breakfast was good, however it needs to be properly described on booking so that people know what to expect. The breakfast is veggeterian "healthy" made by the hosts, no buffet, no meat.

Beautiful property, lovely minimalist modern style, felt very well looked after by the host. Very relaxing and calm space. Perfect location too as you can walk straight from the door into the centre of Pals. Would definitely recommend.

The location was perfect and the breakfast was something completely different and very tasty.

The room felt a little dark. A handrail in the shower would be useful for people with limited mobility.

What a treat to stay at Arkhé Boutique Hotel. I felt so welcomed from the moment I arrived. From communication on how to get there before arrival to all of the little touches that made my stay so comfortable, it was a little piece of heaven. I slept like a baby there and the cherry on top was the rooftop breakfast. Excellent.

Beautifully renovated historic building, amazing setting, super comfortable and spacious room and bathroom, best breakfast, kindest and attentive staff. A gem.

I loved everything about this property. You feel and see the lover Martí and Marta put in every single detail of the hotel. wonderful stay, bedroom was lovely and hotel itself super charming. the breakfast was so special given they really cook in a holistically manner and use local and fresh ingredients.

Cozy place, well decorated and equipped with everything you need. Splendid location with private parking.
