The Convent is a wonderful place, tastefully renovated that preserves the original spirit but with a pleasant touch of modernism. Our room was large and well equipped with good bedding. The breakfast, typically Spanish, is very pleasant under a tent that protects from the morning sun. The restaurant is pleasant, the value for money is acceptable. The small beach of Sa Riera is easily accessible on foot, it is large enough with fine sand. From there, coves and other beaches are accessible. The parking is nearby, it is large enough.

Difficult to find a negative point.

Front of house staff were great. Cleaning staff were really friendly and accommodating. The most characterful and charming hotel I think I've stayed in. Such a nice atmosphere and stunning, stunning views. Apart from our last day, the breakfast was amazing. Something went wrong on the last day which meant they had half of what they usually had available, with little to no bread, and even water was missing for a while.

Not much. The steps down to the pool are pretty sketchy if you have a small child, but you can just carry them, unless they're super stubborn like mine. The young guy doing breakfast service on Monday 10 June was all at sea and probably new and needed better training.

Location is absolutely gorgeous, probably their strength, the pool, old cypress… the staff, quietness. Parking lot for guests. Breakfast is average, but, of course, you can delight with the views. The place is just ten minutes walking distance from the beach, downhill, easy. Sa Riera.

The building is beautiful. Lovely room overlooking the garden. Friendly staff. Clean. Good breakfast.

The location is a bit too far out of Begur to walk for the evening. There is no lounge/bar area in the hotel. The terrace is set up as a restaurant. No drinks service at the pool area. Overall, just a little bit tired, in the grounds and in the Bathrooms, for a 4* hotel, with a little bit of love and attention to detail it could be so nice.

Breakfast was good with wide selection to choose from. Our room was great with lovely view over the swimming pool. Hotel was in a good location and very helpful to have the car park opposite. It was a peaceful location and charming hotel.

Coffee machines at breakfast - not great coffee which is a shame as Spain is known for its great coffee (amongst other things!). Bathroom a bit small with average shower.

Service was great, room too, breakfast amazing.

You need the car to get to the town centre. The beach is 15 min walk through a little forest. I missed a hall with some sofas or spaces to rest, read or just be calm as it was raining and it was difficult to do things outside.

Attractive historical building nicely modernised. Tasteful musak.

Poor parking facility on very rough ground. Breakfast options limited, rotten tomatoes were produced two mornings running. The fitness centre did not open until 9am - exercising before breakfast and departure for the day is thus largely excluded.

Location, attention to detail and sober but beautiful style

The one tiny improvement would be to re- varnish the tables in the restaurant or use table cloths. The current tabletops have an unpleasant sticky feel when touched. Tiny but not unimportant in the dining rxperience

Extremely good, varied breakfast. Very clean, functional room with comfortable bed. The hotel has a lot of characterful,original features and is most atmospheric , placed within a little garden of Eden. The swimming pool was an added bonus and really appreciated.

Parking place was very crowded - need to extend it.

Amazing hotel in an old convent. Impressively renovated with modern facilities. Great pool area, even though the pool is not very deep. Comfortable beds, high quality bathroom products. Quiet area, walking distance to the beach. Very good breakfast. Lovely staff and great massage.

Nothing to complain about.
