Carla (the hotel manager) makes you feel like you’re the most special guest. She gives you personalised attention 24/7, helps you with your luggage, restaurant bookings and organising plans for the day. The hotel is decorated with taste, high quality amenities and lots of details to see. Breakfasts are delicious, lots of options, service is great too. Location is amazing to do daytrips to different beaches and villages. Begur itself is lovely and has a lot of options for lunch/dinner, but if you spend more than 1 day is worth visiting other places nearby. But the true hidden gem in this place is her lovely dog Pepa, we fell in love with her since the first minute. Disclaimer: don’t worry if you don’t like dogs, she won’t be approaching you unless you approach her, also she is not there every day (we were so lucky to find her!)

The only thing we regret is not having booked more nights at this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at La Bionda, from the warm welcome on arrival until check out, the hospitality exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and genuinely interested in making it a pleasant and memorable experience. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. We would return without hesitation!

The owner obviously thought of every detail in the renovation of this 17th century building. Our room was thoughtfully appointed and every detail was attended too from the robes and slippers, the hot water and tea, the beach towels, the wonderful functional air conditioning and the toiletries in the bathroom. Carla and staff have mastered the art of hospitality setting up our dinner reservations, providing directions and recommendations for activities and even parking our car! The breakfast included fresh pressed juices, freshly baked goods, amazing coffee, fresh fruit and eggs of your choice. This wonderful little gem in the middle of a quaint medieval town center exceeded our expectations as did the hospitality! We really had a tough time leaving and an even tougher time entering our new room in our next location.

Amazing service from the whole team at La Bionda. We felt so welcomed and absolutely loved every aspect of our stay from the convenient location, delicious breakfast, to the comfortable, stylish room and the amazing toiletries. Nothing, everything was perfect.

The hotel was so charming, beautiful, and intimate. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and Carla and her staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make my stay as special as possible - from parking to making reservations, etc. The location of the hotel can’t be beat - it’s right in the center of Begur.

I didn’t realize that there isn’t staff onsite 24/7 and would have liked to know this as a solo female traveler beforehand. However, I still felt very safe and had Carla’s phone number if I needed anything after hours.

La Bionda is unlike any other hotel experience we'd ever had. The Hotel itself is intricately decorated with stunning decor. The terraces, communal areas and dining area all exude a calming and relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in two different rooms; the first was Valentina which was their exquisite suite room. It opened up to a stunning terrace and had a beautiful, spacious bathroom with a gorgeous bathtub. The second room was smaller however equally stunning with beautifully curated decor. Both rooms were tidy, neat and clean with considered details like maps, bath products, robes etc. The complementary breakfast was also a highlight, especially in its relaxing, open setting. Much of it was sourced from local farms and artisans which was special. The location of the place is very central as it is right in the town square with a multitude of restaurants, bars and cafes close by. Lastly, Carla, the host of La Bionda is most definitely the beating heart of the place. She is friendly, kind and extremely generous with her time and very happy to assist with providing recommendations and making restaurant reservations. La Bionda holds a very special place in our heart and we can't wait to return! We would recommend it to everyone.

One of the nicest boutique experiences I’ve ever had. This gem is run by Carla, the owner, who makes the place be as amazing as it is, with her genuine kindness, friendliness and hospitality. She makes you feel so welcome. You can tell her love and dedication to La Bionda in every detail! I had to take the bus to the airport with my usual embarassingly huge bags, and she insisted on helping me out ( uphill!) ínstead of grabbing a taxi, like a friend who is hosting you at her home and finds joy in helping out, that ladies and gentlemen, is true hospitality! The interiors are something else . The furniture curation is impeccable, full of character yet super high end. Every space has so much identity, I love the vaulted ceilings and how they managed to create a cool modern space without compromising the nature of the old bones which are so special. As many say very Wes Anderson indeed but I also could see a lot of Catalonian elements in the interiors, which I loved. The breakfast is delicious, the table setting is adorable, the patio, everything is just spot on! This place is an absolute must go in Costa Brava ! Can’t wait to visit again!

Absolutely amazing boutique hotel. They have carefully thought about every single detail in the room and the hotel/facilities. The breakfast was divine: everything is source locally and there was great variety without having too many options. I also loved the host, Carla, and the staff working there who had a plethora of recommendations in the area which in my opinion were better than the recommendations online. All in all, I would def recommend this place and will def be back again.

The wine in the bar was not my favorite.

Let's start with Carla. Amazing person, who went way above and beyond to make sure our trip was fantastic. Do you know the feeling when you first meet someone and know instantly they'll be your friend forever. That's her.

My husband and I loved this hotel for many reasons! The vibe, cleanliness, interior design, location, food - the list could go on! Most importantly, the beautiful staff! Carla was an incredible host & we highly recommend everyone to stay here. We definitely want to come back!!
