The place is very nice and very suitable to visit the castle. The staff is very kind and charming.

The bathroom was a little humid. An air exhaust fan could help, especially when having a shower. I also recommend a written password on a sign in the room for using the wifi, since I could not try this amenity; I haven't found staff at that time and the phone wasn't working.

It’s better to put something at the entrance so the sand wouldn’t come into the room. and please put shower gel, soap and shampoo in usual things, not those tubes for one use only.

A little tired and could perhaps do with a bit of modernising but it was clean & comfortable & the location far outweighed the need for updated decor!

Location cannot be beat. You literally walk outside and you’re at the beach. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large. Staff were friendly and upgraded our rooms without us asking. Terraces were lovely for night views of the castle and old town. Air conditioning functioned well and provided welcome reprieve from outside heat. Breakfast was reasonably priced (7€), basic (breads, cereals, yoghurt, meats and cheeses) but fine.

Decor and furnishings are dated (old green porcelain toilet bowls and sinks), but they all worked great and so no real complaints. Vehicle access to the front of the hotel is restricted at times (evenings) when the road is made pedestrian-only, but access at the back is possible.

Hotel Cabo de Mar is in a superb location at the base of the old town and across from the beach, close to restaurants. The staff were really helpful with checking in and restaurant advice. The hotel room had all that we needed and was very clean. We would stay again.

Location was amazing, right between the old town and the beach, you could be inside the old walled town in a literal 1 minute walk and the same for getting to the beach. The staff was very kind and the place was more upscale than I expected, very good deal for the money.

They didn't give us much soap or shampoo, and the breakfast didn't have any eggs which would have been nice. These are minor complaints though, we really liked it.

Centrally located. Bicycle friendly but you have to carry your bike down a flight of stairs into the basement. Good breakfast.

Room with terrace, good natural ventilation excellent location, very charming multilingual staff.

Only slight irritation was the feeling of a slight layer of sand all over the hotel floors, I suppose that's normal in a beachfront hotel?

Amazing location. We need to come back to spend more time in this beautiful city. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful, and the location was gorgeous.

I wouldn't change a thing.
