Location is excellent and the view over the ocean from the little balcony is superb. The beach bar downstairs is great.

The breakfast was very basic and there is only 1 standard option, no variety or choice. The hotel is in a restricted zone so it is not possible to drive up to the hotel to drop off luggage, we had to find the nearest car park and carry all our luggage for a couple of blocks. I might have missed it in the description of the hotel but I can't recall this being mentioned.

Fantastic location, a 5 minute walk from the castle entrance. Good water pressure. Good sized room and bathroom. If it had been sunny while I was there, the outdoor area of the restaurant/bar would have been amazing.

No elevator, although only 3 floors, so not so bad. Breakfast was okay, but some fruit or yoghurt would have been nice.

Location overlooking the sea, set against the citadel walls. Bed comfortable, lovely pillows. Room spotlessly clean. Breakfast served in the restaurant overlooking the sea. Good variety. All the staff were friendly. The receptionist spoke Spanish and excellent English Parking close by

No lift Bathrooms very narrow but powerful hot shower. No bidet Not enough power sockets in the room

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Beach bar in the basement, at beach level, was great and the drinks very good. Restaurant was good and had some interesting options. Breakfast had a good selection of food and drinks with fab pastry's and we left full on both days.

Staircase was a little dark and 'timed' lights in hallways were very short.

it was definitely the best place in all of Peñiscola  and the location right on the water was unforgettable. Ella was our hostess when we checked in and she was so lovely and beautiful and she worked so hard to take care of us.

I love how unique it was and that it was right on the water and you could literally walk out of the restaurant down the steps into the water also at the foot of an amazing castle. Where else in the world can you do that?

Our apartment with the sea view was really fantastic. If it wasn't only 1 night stay I could seat on the balcony for hours. The location of the hotel was also great for longer walks on the beach and visiting Peniscola castle. I also recommend the bar which is in the same building downstairs.

The location of the hotel is spectacular with the view of the beach and sea. Clean and fairly comfortable. Located above a restaurant with good food.

The hotel is a bit outdated and the shower is not comfortable with the temperature of the water going from very hot to cold every few seconds.

Room was lovely !!!shower cubicle was not good def needs looking at ....Twin room plenty space no noise..def stay again but the shower cubicle let it down sink hole dirty black in corners of the shower tray and window in there dirty ...but overall was nice place!!!!

Hotel Muva Beach is THE BEST! The location was amazing, on the beach and right on the city walls. You can literally walk to everything you would want to visit. And despite what other reviews have said, you can park pretty close for a reasonable price. We parked by the marina (.2 away for about 8 euros a day). If arriving on a weekend, I recommend parking before 6 though. It looks like it gets pretty crowded. The beach is amazing. The water is calm, and there are beach rentals like chairs with umbrellas (we paid £9 each for the day), paddle boards, and slides on paddle boats (!?!) for really reasonable prices within a very short walk. The room was larger and more well-appointed than expected, and you can’t beat free breakfast overlooking the water. You should book here if staying in Peñíscola.

Location is great. Great views from dining and beach bar areas.

The restaurant menu was such an odd mixture that we decided not to eat there.
