Everything was perfect. The staff were brilliant. Miguel and Co really know their stuff when it comes to hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was absolutely spotless and our room was very comfortable. The location is brilliant. Just metres from beaches and next door to some very nice tapas bars and restaurants. We spent 7 nights there. We wish we could’ve stayed for another month!

The location! Close to literally everything!! The grocery store is right behind us, we stayed for 5 nights here, every day we crossed the street to get water, fruits and vegetables. The bus stop (for regular bus and for the bus we took to come from and back to Barcelona) is also super close, just 2 min of walk. All the restaurants are around us. And the most important - The Castle! Is super close to us too! The room is not too big but decent size, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning is really efficient, it gets cool super fast so we didn't even need to keep it on for too long. I like having the small balcony, standing on there watching the streets and getting some breeze. Mind you, it's really narrow and small so you can only stand. Shower is good and had good compartments for me to put my own showering products. I'm really glad I read the comments and chose this hotel. Last time in 2021 I stayed in a hotel that also has really great location (and super close to this one too), but this time they ran out of the room type with balcony which allows for sea and castle view. I'm really glad I tried out Hotel Marina over the other which only had one room type left that doesn't have a balcony. We had one heavy and huge luggage and one smaller but also heavy luggage and had no problem moving them because of the elevator in the lobby. You only need to clime a few steps to get to it but it's ok for me. Peñiscola remains my favourite little town in Spain!💜

Too many mosquitoes during the time when we stayed, we got so many mosquitoes bites every night. Some nights we had to stay up so late trying to kill all the mosquitoes lol But I suppose it's not the hotel's fault, as most of the Spanish buildings don't have window screen, so if you have to choose to either close the window or let both fresh air and mosquitoes in. And the toilet, I'm not sure what material exactly it is made, but it's harder to flush off the stain. And also the ventilation fan in the washroom is really loud, and it turns on as you turn on the washroom light. Anyways, these are not deal breaker for me just small things that bugged me a little.

I travelled by motorcycle and the reception staff recommended parking at the rear of the hotel in a small closed off area, so I could see the motorcycle from my room. This did offer some peace of mind, however from what I've seen, motorcycles are completed safe parked on the street at night. The hotel is close to many restaurants, the beach and a short walk to the historic area.

I can't think of anything negative worth mentioning.

As can happen often the hotel car park is not at the hotel but again the owner was very helpful with precise instructions on how to find it

We took a train to Peniscola for the day and loved it so much that we decided to find a hotel last minute. Luckily, Hotel Marina had a room available. The staff was so nice, Miguel specifically was amazing and so helpful. The rooms are clean, value is great and location is perfect. Highly recommend you staying here if visiting Peniscola. Sentral location, a small stroll from the beach and the castle. Clean hotel. Very service minded family hotel. We were allowed to store our baggage in our room until 17:00, so we could go do some sightseeing the same day as we were leaving.

In Town, so good access to beach, bars, and restaurants. The manager was very helpful and helped us contact the airport lost property dept. to retrieve our laptop, which we had left on the plane!

Hotel was super clean and equiped, bed was comfy.. It is near to the beach, restaurants, bars and to the castle. Staff was very kind ( speaking English) and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, very much recommended!

Lovely wee hotel , near the sea front. Very clean and comfortable. Option of continental style breakfast . Great check out time and let us stay a wee bit longer as we waited for our lift.

Couldn’t fault anything!

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the owner was welcoming and friendly. The room was quite small and basic but it was good value for money.

We were out of season so the place looked dark and gloomy and there was no breakfast offered. Parking was not easy because the road was closed at one end and it was a one way street.
