Staff on the whole are excellent and offer great customer service. I love the fact that even though we have to check out of our room at 11am we can stay the whole day, use the facilities, store our luggage and even shower after using the pool with the use of two shower rooms (complete with hairdryers and toiletries - ask for towels!) so for an end of day flight you’re not wandering around with heavy bags - you can get to enjoy your whole time in Spain! We didn’t pay to stay for lunch but instead walked up to the big square where the kids can play and you can enjoy some relaxing time having a cuppa / food and being amongst the locals. The hotel is always busy and the managing of meal times is mostly very well done.

I can only ever get extra pillows when I stay there if the hotel isn’t full, when it is at capacity there is nothing extra - one pillow per person and a cushion or two which aren’t comfortable to use to sleep. Over three years of visiting and it would be great if they could actually splash out on extra pillows for those guests who need more than one as nobody expects to have to take their own pillows in luggage on a plane!

Pineda de Mar is a beautiful little town in a lovely part of the world. At the Splash Pineda, the staff are really friendly, it has nice facilities and rooms. Lots of pool options, able to borrow towels. Staff spoke good English but allowed us to practise our Spanish and Catalan too.

Breakfast could maybe do with a rethink. Cooking and keeping the food under hot plates meant everything was a bit hard from the cooked breakfast. Coffee wasn’t good (from a machine). We were there bed and breakfast and in the end went out for a lovely coffee and pastry from the local cafes. Great restaurants in Pineda too.

The pools were amazing. Especially the kids size at the back with the slides.The room was big and specious as well as the bathroom. Our little girl enjoyed the holiday.

The door handle of the bathroom from the inside was falling down millions of times. It needed some work to be fixed in. The sunbeds were not enough for all the guests so many people were queueing from early morning.

Dog policy not clear enough.(if you have two dogs, you are not allowed).We were moved to the next building. The apartment we were moved to, was too dark. Shower was toddlers, I had to bend to wash my head Parking is a bit expensive €15-18 per day.

The food offer was good and varied with good daily changes to to the buffet menu. Seating and service was quick and efficient. Aircon was efficient and effective in the hot weather. Entertainment programme was good for children during day and early evening, then later for families.

Intermittent problem with one elevator caused some delays with buggies and luggage. Family room was a little compact with three beds, but bathroom was fine. A childproof room lock would be an option.

Location was good and Rooms were a good size. As a group of 10 adults we were pleased to see there was an adult recommended pool/area, although bare in mind due to wording you may find there are children in this pool at times! The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The token system for the drinks and the fact there didn't appear to be enough bar staff in the evenings as there were long ques to get a drink.

The food, the pool, rom, and we were very happy with the girls form Portugal, they were always friendly, smiling and very helpful.

One day one of the girls in the family hurt herself after stepping on some glass by the pool, that is not ok. And another day, two of the girls spent a looooong time waiting in line for the kids makeup, and when it finally was their turn, they just packed up in front of them and left. They didnt say anything and they let them stand there in line for all that time!! That was cruel og and the girls where crying when they got back. DONT treat children that way!

The staff were all very friendly and cheerful. The food was great, a very high standard compared to other spanish hotels I have stayed in. The entertainment was good throughout the day getting both adults and children involved.

Not enough sunbeds and parasols for the amount of guests.

Weather was awful, had to buy umbrella! But room was spacious, though balcony bit small. Excellent selection of food for breakfast, though good have done with a teapot as one cup is never enough.

Tiling in corridors needs replacing.

Wasn’t disappointed with any aspect of my stay. I was only booked for two days and staff were great when I wanted to extend my stay for another few days, making sure I could keep the same room. Facilities were great, food was delicious and one member of staff even allowed me a free lunch although I wasn’t booked all-inclusive. I’d definitely recommend it and book again.
