Though prior reviews had me anxious about my stay, upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised at my clean room and clean bathroom. There has not been any remodeling since hotel was built, but I didn't mind that one bit! It made me feel as if I was visiting my Nana back when I was a young child - I loved my stay at this property!! Not everything needs to be "upgraded" in this world to still be nice. I will also say this - if you travel with a lot of luggage, this may not be the place for you. The rooms are quite small and with only two staying in the room (plus triathlon bike and gear) it was a tight squeeze!

There wasn't much that I didn't like, but if the weather had gotten really hot it may have been tough without air conditioning. However, there was a nice oscillating fan in the room and we did use it when one of the days got up to 76 degrees (25 celcius).

Good location and friendly staff.

Room was very basic, could of done with at least a kettle. The blinds didn't keep the sun out much and the beds squeaked a bit. I had booked a double bed room and got two single beds, wasn't much of an issue and didn't mention during my stay as I wasn't there for long

Big room, amazing beds! Very comfortable. The best we've slept in in a hotel and we travel a lot, even comparing with 5 stars hotels. Good localization. Nice staff

Could improve the cleaning. Not that it was dirty, just dusty is some places. Also it's not easy to park the car near the hotel, though this is obviously not the hotel's fault.

I liked its location. A great base for exploring Pontevedra and within walking distance of the bus and train stations for getting around Galicia. The room was clean and comfortable.

It was a little noisy at times but that is to be expected in a city.

Staff were great, really helpful. The evening menu option was very good value for money, the breakfast was a good selection. The beds were clean and comfortable. The location was superb, very close to the Camino and less than 5 minutes from the old town square.

Nothing really, the hotel just needs a lick of paint and a spruce up.

This hotel is one of two Alda hotels in Pontevedra. Well located specially if you are a Pilgrim on the Camino. The staff is lovely and helpful. Rooms are somewhat modest, but very clean and comfortable.

Convenient location. Online checkin if later than expected. Little extras like pastries at the desk at night were nice. It was great to have a bath available.

No restaurant but many available in the area.

Friendly and welcoming hotel close to the old town, happy to let us do early check-in as the room was ready.

Room walls were a little marked and in need of a refresh, but nothing significant.

Rooms were very clean, free bottles if water and it was quiet. Very central in walking distance of food and drink and convenient for the camino.

We weren't welcomed on arrival, very grumpy check in man 🙁

Buen hotel para pasar una noche en Pontevedra, súper céntrico con supermercados cerca y todo el centro histórico. La habitación pequeña pero cómoda.
