Super nicely decorated, very stylish and as a Pilgrim you kinda feel out of place in such a lavish Albergue :-) all the facilities and rooms was super nice! Pin code to get in your room so very very safe

Walls are paper thin, people were really noisy and loud. Each room has a pin coded sliding door and it is impossible to sleep with people in and out their rooms, not sure how they would change that but those doors were slamming non stop. There are signs everywhere to be silent, but I feel like the staff should maybe go in there every now and then and tell people to be quiet, they could definately be heard in reception.

We had a fantastic stay here as we walked some of the Camino. A beautiful setting with really comfortable bed and a bath in the room! Bathroom and shower facilities were great and it was a real bonus to sleep in a bed with proper sheets and to get towels! The pilgrim meal was the best we had!

As other people have mentioned - the walls of each glamping ‘pod’ don’t go to the ceiling so when anyone walks /talks in any of the surrounding rooms it nearly sounds like they might be in your room! So just the noise aspect but really it wasn’t bad and it was just a fabulous place to stay.

Glamping, and interesting concept. The private room has walls that go part way up and there canvas is draped to create a tent like atmosphere. Clean and comfortable, and our room had a wall of windows that overlooked the nature area. It's kind of a cross between a dorm and a private room. Without full walls if anyone is talking in the neighboring rooms you will hear them, but visually you are blocked.

There is a common area and bar/courtyard that was closed, I assume because we were at the start of the off season and not enough other occupants to make it worthwhile.

Modern albergue adjunct to a hotel with bar and snack foods available. Towel and cotton sheets provided. Well-heated at night in freezing outside temps. Very convenient for the Camino.

The aircon was extremely loud and blew a gust in my face when lying down, forcing me to reverse my lying position. There are only canvas ceilings in the albergue (with a high roof encompasing all, so noise travels across them, private and dorm alike. Same in the showers. Some fittings broken in the men's shower.

The reception staff went above and beyond! I had a mountain of issues during my travels, and I made some mistakes; the reception staff were INCREDIBLY helpful, empathetic, understanding, easy going, fun...I could go on. Their front desk fixed some difficult days into very positive ones. The room was very pretty and comfy too, nice bathrooms. Beautiful town. Gracias A..!!!

Some guests had no sense of respect for others' sleep. The volume they spoke in was a joke, not the hostel fault but. The door system made them loud if the guests were not careful.

Bolted onto the side of a hotel, this new build, spotlessly clean albergue, was a delight to stay at. The reception staff spoke fluent Spanish and English, and they were incredibly helpful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and new. There were washing and drying machines available for use by guests, which gave me a chance to clean all of my hiking clothes and towels, etc. The hotel has a restaurant attached and a bar, both of which offer excellent choices and value and are frequented by locals, so a good sign.

Having to leave. There wasn't anything I could fault.

The place is inviting and comfortable, and the rooms as well as the common areas are extremely clean. The beds are comfortable and the bar is a nice touch, plus the fact that it's right at the entrance off the trail, so no need to walk further.

The walls are paper-thin. Having paid for a private room and hearing everyone else as though they are in your room was quite unsettling. Additionally, it's a little far from the center of town, which made it difficult to find dinner without walking quite a distance, as the hotel restaurant was fully booked.

Good accommodation ✅ ➕ This hostel is clean and value for money with fully equipped bathroom. ➖ All rooms at the Albergue are in the basement. This may be an inconvenience for those who need a lot of light. This is not mentioned at the time of booking. Camino de Santiago (7-8 apr - day 5 ) Visited in April 2025

The facilities are beautiful! It’s the first albergue you see off the Camino when entering Puente la Reina. It’s connected to a nice bar/restaurant. The rooms have AC, which is a huge bonus when walking in the summer.

This is definitely nitpicky, but as far as spots on the Camino go, it lacks personality. It feels a bit like a sterile hotel. But if you’re looking for a nice upgrade for night, I recommend. It’s also further from the center of town than other albergues.

Albergue Jakue was really great place to spend the night while you are walking camino de Santiago. It was really clean and nice and they even had towels and really comfortable beds, one of the most comfortable hostels that I stayed during my hike. The walls are really thin and you can hear others talking from other rooms, but luckily while I was staying everyone was really respectable and did not disturb others in any way. And they have a great bar/cafe too in which I had good dinner and breakfast.
