Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a problem on our first night and they could not do enough to resolve it. The food in the restaurant was very very good. Fried eggs at breakfast were the best I’ve ever had!!!

The rooms have virtually no sound proofing. You can hear everything around you. The room we had on the first floor was really bad. Take ear plugs and try and get a room on the top floor

This was our second stay in two weeks. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the incuded breakfast is great. the optional evening meal is great value. When we were there a three course meal including wine was 13 euros for weekdays and 19 euros at the weekend, but the food quality stepped up for Saturday and Sunday. We cycled to the hotel and there is good, secure indoor bike parking in the hotel itself.

If I'm being really picky, the bathroom in the room we were in for our second stay was a bit dated, but beautifully clean.

Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. This is our third stay at the San Roque and this time service, cleanliness and decor were much improved. The restaurant was open in the evening offering a great menu for €15 including wine, and it was great. Home cooked food at it's best. Breakfast included for €57 for a double room. It's just great value. If you're heading to Reinosa it's the place to stay. And if you arrive by bike there's a bike rack inside the hotel.

There wasn't anything to complain about. It was all good.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful.parking was easy on street in front of hotel. The rooms were nice and spacious with great bathroom facilities. We ate dinner and breakfast which was perfect and great value for money.From a location perspective it's just of A 67 and an hour from Santander ferry. We will definitely be staying again.

Very difficult to be negative.slight noise from other rooms above and adjacent but that's hotels insnt it!

From what he moment you walked inside it lived up to expectations. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean throughout. Paco and his team are so attentive to their guests that I would have no hesitation is recommending or staying there again. We ate in the restaurant and the food was perfectly cooked and delicious. 5 stars and highly recommend.

A lovely hotel an hour from Santander & just off of the motorway. Great parking just outside. The staff were lovely. Right in the middle of town. The evening meal was amazing.

Nothing. Breakfast a little basic but it did the trick. Lovely coffee.

The manager/proprietor was exceptionally friendly but professional. The room was actually a suite with sitting room, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Our breakfast was included in the price. We decided to have an evening meal in the hotel dining room, which was well cooked and presented.

Could find nothing to complain about.

Located in the town and the inside of the hotel was quite stunning.

The floors in the rooms had been fitted with click boards and unfortunately were noisy and we were woken very early in the morning by a neighbour. Also the restaurant that was shown on the Internet was closed.shame as we had our breakfast there and the room was amazing

Breakfast was pretty standard, with some fresh fruit, yoghurt and fresh toast and prepackaged baked goods. The building itself was exceptionally interesting and full of character and history. No designated parking, but lots of parking pretty much outside the front door. Very good insulation for noise and light, if you are a light sleeper. Useful recommendation of a restaurant to eat at in the evening.

Fruit at breakfast could have been a bit fresher.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation in an extremely convenient location just off the motorway. Breakfast was good with a variety of hot and cold food on offer. A great stop off when traveling to and from the Santander ferry for us, with the opportunity to hop into Salamanca. There was a very loud Christmas party on the ground floor when we arrived but we could hear absolutely nothing on the third floor and had an undisturbed night.

For our purposes (passing through) there was nothing to dislike. I couldn’t comment on suitability for a longer stay.
