I loved this place. I had had a terrible night's sleep the night before so really needed to sleep well. And I really did. The room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was included too, so it was more like paying 70 euros instead of 80. Utterly safe area, not least because the police station is next door! Nice 2 minute walk into the historic centre of Aguilar. The only thing I would recommend is that the morning staff learn a bit about places to recommend, within a 50km radius. Or just admit that they don't know, which would have been fine. It was recommended to me to stop for lunch in Barakaldo, rough suburb of Bilbao!

Comfortable bed and room for a good price. Quiet. Pretty little town. Nice staff. Easy safe-seeming parking within gated enclosure or on the road. I would definitely stay here again for a stopover en route like this time or if wanting to explore. A good night's sleep.

Wish they had at least a coffee vending machine or facilities in the room. No restaurant in the evening other than an arrangement for a discount with a local one that doesn't start serving until 9pm. We didn't use it as wanted an early start.

Secure parking for the motorcycles at a low cost. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower was brilliant. We went 28th June and came across end of school fair with funfair rides. There was a massive town parade in the main square and at night a massive firework display. The breakfast buffet had everything.

It says it caters for breakfast lunch and dinner however when we arrived they only did breakfast. We found a local pizza shop to solve that issue. No big deal.

Free parking was a bonus, opposite to the hotel. The breakfast was self service, a good variety, although not an English breakfast which didn't matter to us. It included ham, cheese, yoghurt, cereals, bread and spreads. The room was spacious and quiet, with easy to use A.C. and tv. The shower room was equally spacious and a hairdryer welcome. Everywhere was very clean. My husband is partly disabled so lifts and nearness of the Plaza was welcome. They served lunch but not an evening meal, but this was to our advantage as the beautiful old Plaza with a church was 4 minutes walk away, where meals were served from 8.30pm. The Monastery was nearby but we didn't have time to go. We must return, many thanks.

We would have enjoyed eggs with our breakfast, but there were sufficient choices. The checking in was slow, but that wasn't an issue, as there were plenty of comfy seats around in reception.

The hotel is in the perfect place to explore Aguilar de Campoo and the surrounding area. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and spotless, and it was really good value for the peak holiday time we were there. The Wi-Fi was also excellent.

The room safe wasn't working and a few more drawers, shelves and hangers in the bedrooms would be great, but these are just minor things. We'd highly recommend this hotel. 😊

We wanted overnight accommodation near Santander to catch a ferry next day. The hotel was easy to find, free parking was available in front of the hotel and the reception was manned. Checking in was easy and we took the lift to our room. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was huge and comfortable and the shower was pristine. This was one of the best rooms we have experienced in 15 years of travel between Spain and the UK. Next morning the breakfast was laid out well and Adrian was on hand to explain the routine and top up the wide selection. The old part of Aguilar de Campoo is only two minutes walk away from the hotel and is very worthy of a visit. The old buildings have been well preserved and give a glimpse of life in rural Spain centuries ago.

The hotel restaurant does not do evening meals until later in the year but there are other places to eat about five minutes walk away.

The hotel was new and very clean, the bedrooms were huge and the bathroom was well designed and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was included and it was good and well presented. All the staff were very helpful and even though they spoke some English they let us carry on in our poor Spanish. The location to the town is very good and we were using it as an overnight stop on the way to santander, great choice only 1hr 30 mins to travel on the day of sailing so no stress.

I can not think of anything I didn't like. Apart from the fact the weather was very cold 🤣

Buffet breakfast was adequate. Plenty of food but not much variety. Some of the rolls and pastries were not fresh. Free parking in the street outside the hotel. Close to town centre. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Good walking trails nearby.

Room was large and comfortable but decor is bland, almost sterile.

The location was fine and easily accessible. The breakfast was very good as everything was fresh, with constant replenishment when things got low. It was also very quiet. Parking was also very good and easy. The guy on reception was really very helpful

The restaurant was closed, which we didn't know when we booked. Therefore has to go into town where local custom applied ie nothing until 2100

Breakfast had good selection of foods. Well presented and fresh so no complaints.

Immediately located outside our room on the flat roof were the air conditioning units which were noisy all night and disturbed our sleep. We arrived on a Tuesday evening, and were disappointed when the receptionist informed that the restaurant was closed, and we had to walk into the town which is well worth visiting for our evening meal. Not a real problem but we had been travelling all day and were really tired so an in-house meal would have been better for us.
