Easy access from motorway. Convenient heading north to Santander 1 hour drive. Nice views of mountains Very nice staff at reception and in the cafe /Restaurant in the evening. Set meal of the day with choices 16 euros including wine etc Simple but good. We had Cesar Salads big plate and a beef steak. Not tender but was tasty and ok

Good location good staff but needs a deeper attention to small things. Lifts a bit tired looking paint peeling in en suite black mold around some tiling and soap holder We were on seconed floor. Wifi can be very poor. Nice hotel will stay again but needs a person with a good eye to tidy up paintwork grouting etc.

The reviews we read all noted a rather quirky, run down hotel so on arrival we were not surprised by what we found and therefore not really bothered. Over a 3 week period we had toured on a motorcycle , staying in a variety of 5, 4 and 3 star rated hotels. As this was the final stop over before Santander we had no great expectations, in any event on leaving we were totally impressed with the quality of the staff, the welcome, help on arrival, food and the general atmosphere. Concluding that stars do not really make a difference.....the people do.

The location was excellent for Santander route. Also close to supermarkets. The room was perfectly comfortable overall with good beds and Netflix is excellent and much appreciated in a hotel room. Terrace was a bonus.

Couldn’t adjust radiator temperature in the room so was a little hot. Good job we speak Spanish as reception didn’t. We do prefer a shower rather than shower over bath but the shower head was ok.

This hotel is well positioned to get into Santander for the ferry or from the ferry. Parking is easy and free. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming; the food in the restaurant in the evening is very good quality and value.

There is nothing that we did not like here. We have used this hotel several times and will return.

Room was good, location short walk from the centre, easy to get onto motorway to Santandar and other nice village trips on our bikes. Solid secure parking for motorbikes.

Not a lot really, facilities are a little tired that's all.

The hotel and hotel room was very clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was really good. They had a three course menu or an a la carte menu with lots of choices. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. The room price was very reasonable.

The restaurant menu was only in Spanish which meant it took me a long time to figure out what to order.

The location was great just a little drive from the main motor way. Great views of the hills. In an ideal place for exploring the area.

The only thing was the shower in the bath. As an elderly person it's quite difficult to get into the bath for a shower. Looking forward to seeing the redecoration of the hotel.

Cheap and cheerful, with good food and friendly staff. Two petrol stations and two supermarkets within right on the doorstep

It's on the outskirts of town, but only a 10 minute walk from restaurants and bars.

Room was comfy and quiet. Parking was excellent. friendly staff. Really excellent meal at night. Ideal stopover for the ferry the next day. It took less than and hour to Santander.

Ideal for our requirements, no dislikes.

Staff were excellent. Menu del dia was great value. Parking spaces always available.

Breakfast choice was not great.
