Lovely hotel, quiet, very comfortable room, friendly staff. The presentation of the hotel, the public areas and the room itself was great. We loved the modern appearance set within the location in the old town. Very easy to walk to the main attractions of the town and the beach. We will definitely come back.

In the end we didn’t have breakfast there but - and although I can appreciate why they ask - I don’t necessarily want to have to pre-order my breakfast selection the night before.

We enjoyed our stay at La Alcoba de Aqua so much that we decided to extend our stay and upgrade from a Standard Double Room to the Junior Suite. (I highly recommend the Suite if it's within your budget!) This boutique hotel was pure luxury at a great price point, unlike any other hotel we have experienced during our travels through Spain. The Junior Suite offered so many nice details, like bathrobes and bath slippers set out for us, an assortment of teas and a kettle, little chocolates provided in the refrigerator, and soaps, scents, and shower caps provided in the bathroom. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and had fresh linens, and our balcony overlooking the garden/pool area was sunny and tranquil. The service at the hotel is gracious and helpful. I would return to Sanlucar just to stay in this gem of a hotel again. We didn't want to leave.

The addition of coffeemaker in our room would have put our amazing experience over the top. Also, we did not have breakfast at the hotel because it seemed pricey; however, it was easy to find many affordable breakfast spots near the hotel.

Lovely little courtyard hotel in the old town - everywhere was easily walkable. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Laura the manager could not have been more helpful, recommending good places to eat and drink.

Breakfast was fantastic, with homemade breads and pastries. Many of which were gluten free. Small pool felt great in the hot weather Proximity to downtown restaurants and beaches.

Covered Parking was some distance away and cramped, but this is pretty typical in many areas of spain.

Sanlucar de Barrameda is a charming historic town off the regular tourist route except for sherry afficionados or nature lovers due to the national park nearby. Dubbed the culinary capital of Spain for 2022, its profile is a bit more elevated. This little boutique hotel meets the raised profile of the town and is a beautifully designed renovation of a historic building. The grounds are lovely with a swimming pool in the courtyard, and the rooms are spacious, clean, with excellent bathrooms.

Good size and clean room, perfect location to do wine tastings, good breakfast. The staff is vert professional and friendly. The parking garage is at a short walking distance.

Modern hotel with beautiful entrance hall, breakfast room and atrium. The breakfast looked amazing. 10 minutes walk from the centre.

The room was a bit cold and took time to heat up. No free parking nearby.

Great location, comfortable, clean & new hotel. Good breakfast with Homemade pastries. All the staff very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Carpark on the same street.
