Perfect location. Amazing property. Clean room. Good value. Great breakfast.

They have this like at check in about reserving a dinner reservation before they get fully booked and last thing they had was one table at 10pm. That seemed odd. I came back an hour later and the other person gave me a 9pm reservation and told me 8:30 is available but I had to show up and ask. The restaurant might have been 20% full. The steak I ordered (medium rare ) was raw. Like cold in the middle and not cooked . I never send a steak back in my life until then . I asked to cook it more. It came back rare. Whatever. My advice to the hotel : don’t lie to your customers that your restaurant is filling up to trick them into going late.

Typical Parador set in a lovely historic building right in the centre of the town. Our room was spacious, we slept very well with the balcony door slightly open. Parking available either under the building or on an adjacent, gated plot. We chose the latter, the entrance was easier. This is a great place to stop for trips to the wineries of Rioja Alta in Haro, 20 minutes up the road.

The public area lighting is far too harsh for such a beautiful building. They could have used warm white led bulbs. We got very lost trying to find the hotel. And there are two Paradors in town so check which is yours.

Excellent typical Parador breakfast. Location superb in the centre of an historical small town. Signage needs attention as the route signed in is actually now blocked off and one has reverse out. The real route is in not signposted and is by no means obvious- we had to go to the other Parador in Santo Domingo who were very helpful in providing us with an accurate map - something I suspect they have done before

Pretty much everything. The location was great, both in regards to the town and as a base for touring in the area. It’s a beautiful hotel, the room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was excellent. Parking was convenient as well.

I would prefer more variety in the restaurant menu or that the menu change during the week, but that’s a minor quibble.

Difficult to find access to hotel! No tea and coffee facilities in the room. EV charger not working, and the one in the town only suitable for Spanish nationals so we had to drive to another town. We had a small room overlooking the cathedral, but it was noisy at night.

Best value on Camino. Room very large and comfortable like a 5 star hotel. Bath large and able to take a shower and long bath. Also they offered shampoo and separate crème rinse. My hair finally behaved. Staff amazing and speak English. One male reception staff went out of his way to tell us about a coffee bar open so we could quickly get on the Camino. Highly recommend do not miss!!!

What a hotel, superbly located in the old town. whilst parking was chargeable it was good to have two options, both of which were secure. The interior of the hotel is simply magnificent and the bar prices were excellent. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable.

It was a challenge to get to the hotel as one of the one way roads was closed. other than that i thought the buffet breakfast was very expensive, good job there was plenty of options elsewhere.

Stunning property with lovely bedroom. Lounge area down stairs was a delight to relax in.

The room we had appeared to be over the kitchen area. There was noise until 1/2 past twelve at night and deliveries started at 6.30am. Unfortunately it disrupted our nights sleep. The staff were a little off and not what we would have expected from a hotel of this standard.

Food was great and location was good. Easy to get around the town. Great hot showers.

Beds were very firm and that took some getting used to to. Bells from the bell tower went off every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day so I had a hard time sleeping through it, especially since I am a light sleeper.

After a long walk it was blissful to have a beautiful room and a lovely hot shower and be right in the centre of town. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside which enriches the experience. I would recommend any Camino pilgrim to spoil themselves with a night at this beautiful hotel.
