If you would like to experience a masterclass in hospitality I would recommend Sitges Royal Rooms. The owner and staff of this small hotel are friendly and approachable without it feeling forced. We felt like more than just a couple of tourists visiting Sitges but genuinely welcomed guests. The hotel is full of old world charm and spotlessly clean. We booked a room with a terrace which I would recommend if available. If not, there is a rooftop terrace and Jacuzzi that is available to all guests. The breakfast was good and I really liked the coffee; all served in the cool tranquil garden of the property. We also enjoyed an evening meal there one of the evenings. The hotel is located in the town, very close to the train station. It is a short ramble to a number of Sitges beaches.

Close to the train station, lovely gardens, and chill and tasty made to order breakfast. My room had a fun old-time feel but the bed was quite new and comfortable and the bathroom fully renovated. Sitges downtown isn't a a big so walking to the bars, restaurants, beaches, etc. is just a few minutes stroll and at night you'll appreciate the distance and quiet.

No coffee available before breakfast which was a bit of challenge as I like to have a cup or two before my morning run / swim or when leaving early before breakfast (as I did to catch the bus to the airport). Setting up one of those "pod" style machines (e.g., Nespresso) in the lobby / common area with milk and sugar supplies would have been super joyful for me.

Beautiful boutique hotel, truly unique. Full of wonderful eclectic antiques, and loving restored, the building itself is a joy to experience. Having breakfast in the terrace garden was magical (whether in the dappled shade or with the rain pattering on the removable covers, it is a tropical oasis, and a lovely start to the day!). A wonderful warm welcome from the owners and staff - we were genuinely sad to leave. If you want conventional, go elsewhere. If you want something special and unique, this is a treat. We will definitely be back next year!

I only wish we had discovered the roof terrace a little sooner - it is a real sun trap, and the views are wonderful. Our twin room was perfect for us - but if you fancy even more luxury, it may be worth going for one of the double rooms with their own terrace, as the garden was only open for breakfast (perhaps because it was off-season). To be honest, there was nothing we didn't like!

The entire hotel from top to bottom is beautiful. The owners take excellent care of an old Spanish villa and pour love and beauty into every corner of it. The garden where breakfast is served is a lovely place to start your day. We also enjoyed the happy Bay, their dog, as well who gave us a good dose of dog love as we miss our boy back home. The staff are truly lovely and go out of their way to make you feel like Royal Rooms is your home while you are there.

For us the bed was too hard. A nice mattress topper could easily remedy that. A fan would have also been nice as the nights we were there were extremely hot and the ac is in the opposite side of the room as the bed.

Elias, Gustavo and the team make yoy feel like honoured guests. The breakfast is cooked to order in the beautiful garden, with the birds bathing in the fountain. The staff are the most welcoming and kind. The decor of the whole house makes yoy feel like you are staying at a home as a guest, not a hotel! Don't tell everyone..... as I want to have availability to come back for the 3rd time.

Everything was amazing. The Hansel & Gretel Royal Apartment was awesome! It was so spacious and beautifully designed. I spent a few hours inside each day admiring it. A stone is thrown away from the train station and very close to the beach. There are so many narrow roads with restaurants everywhere. 5 nights there wasn't enough! Breakfast was lovely, and the staff was superb. I wish I'd booked for longer. The garden area where breakfast was served is special. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay.

A beautiful discovery, nicely located with quirky decorations that makes this property so special to stay. Comfortable bed, clean bedroom and bathroom. It’s now on my list of must revisit. Friendly, discreet owners and gorgeous garden and terrace setting.

Checking was slightly confusing as I got the wrong room allocated but it was noted so moved quickly to the correct one. Maybe a general information welcoming letter would assist to understand the facilities and what to expect from this hidden gem.

The most divine hotel with the most amazing hosts. Such a beautiful building with sumptuous rooms. The hospitality was incredible. They made you feel like you were staying in their home. Fab location: the amazing gardens for drinks and breakfast/dinner. We can’t wait to come again. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and their wonderful staff. Thank you!!

This classy place is in a category of its own. The building is a restored 19th century home with authentic decorations and objects that makes you feel you are living in that time period yet with all the modern amenities that you would expect of any lodging. The garden which also served as a dining area was impeccably maintained with a large functioning fountain that provided a gentle and pleasant sound of water flowing. The delicious breakfast was abundant and had a large variety of items to choose from. The owners and the staff were always accommodating and helpful.
