Beautiful old property with so much character . Quiet location in side street but also very central and near to train station , taxi rank and bus stops . Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was of a high standard and fresh . Lovely pool and lounge area .

Breakfast didn’t start till 9 am which seems a bit late especially when we had excursions to get out early for. The shower drain in our bedroom smelt very unpleasant. I did ask about it but was told it was an old drain and in hot weather it was likely to smell. I get the point but who wants to be in a room with a smelly drain and no solution was offered The bedroom and bathroom were very adequate but the smelly drain spoilt it .

The Hotel makes you feel like you are a part of it's family. Arnaud, was so very kind and helpful to us. There is a beautiful calm and peacefulness about the hotel. Because of my mobility issues they kindly put us on the first floor. It is ideally situated for shops and exploring the old town plus beach and beach bars. There is a taxi rank close by, coffee shops, supermarket etc. Very central location. We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was clean and spacious with a wonderful en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Thank you so much to Arnaud and all the team for making this such a memorable trip on our first visit to Sitges. I can see why the Hotel El Xalet comes so highly recommended.

Really nice old villa with small number of rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was relaxed and leisurely since there was only a small number of people staying at the hotel. Breakfast had small selection but of good quality and I had everything I needed, including good coffee. Wonderful historical details in the building and the garden with the pool was nice; this is where the breakfast was served.

The restaurant and bar seem to be closed at the moment, not sure why but that was probably the reason breakfast had quite limited hours from 9 to 10:30.

Beautiful period property. Location was very central on a street with other buildings with great architecture.

The pool area was nice, but was obviously under renovation. Seemed a bit neglected maybe. Nobody offered to help us with our bags which I found strange. This may be a Spanish thing since it happened in most hotels we stayed … in Canada someone almost always asks if you need help with bags. Also on check in nobody told us about the free coffee and or anything about the hotel. Seemed a bit nonchalant to me.

ElXalet is one of the most beautiful accommodations I have ever stayed at. It's an art nouveau Catalonian mansion with a fascinating design, antique furniture and painted glass windows. It also has a garden with a pool. It's conveniently located just 2 min away from the station. There's a Mercadona right next to it. The beach is just 5 min away and there's all sorts of cafes, bars, shops, restaurants right next to the accommodation. Nonetheless it's very quiet and I had a very good night rest. The bed is also super comfy. Arno (the host) and his staff deserve the highest praise, they were very nice and welcoming and always ready to help with whatsoever. All in all it was a superb experience and I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

Everything was immaculate

This hotel looked super cute in the pictures, but my god did it exceed expectations. Our room was ENORMOUS, we had not one, but two stunning balconies, one of which wrapped around the building overlooking the cute courtyard and had a wee table and chairs on for relaxing with a glass of wine and playing cards. The building has so many incredible original features, beautiful tiled floors and breathtaking frescoes painted on the walls of the bathroom. Our bathroom had a fully marble bath that felt heavenly underfoot. The courtyard played the best chilled music during the day which was the nicest backdrop to moseying around the room getting ready. The bar downstairs was the perfect aperitivo spot before you head out for dinner in the evening with the twinkly lights sparkling down on the cast iron furniture the courtyard made it feel super special. Honestly this place is bliss, it's located in the perfect spot, minutes walk from all the beautiful restaurants, but far away enough that you're never disturbed by noise and you are a stone throw away from the train station if you wanted to head into Barcelona. You're also right next to the only good, big supermarket if you wanted to get some light bites for lunch. This place was perfect.

I'd have loved a little more time and space to used the pool, there weren't many sunbeds and it didn't open until 11am which was a little frustrating. I think the breakfast spot could have been moved a little further over to the left and then more sunbeds could be put in to enjoy the pool from an earlier time.

Great location in quiet street. Ideally located to train station but no noise from, an my room was facing the street on the first floor. Double room was super spacious with large modern clean bathroom/shower. Beautiful old Spanish building with a lovely pool and great evening restuarant.

My only negative was the there is no service at all during the day so if you want a pool day they will put out sun loungers for you but there not bar or food. Which wasn’t a big deal as there’s loads of tasty options nearby.

Location - excellent, 2 mins walk from Sitges main train station so was easy with luggage, and 2 mins walk into town centre, and 5 to 10 mins walk to promenade and beaches. Staff - man (French gentleman) on reception so professional, friendly warm and helpful which I especially appreciated as a solo traveller, with recommendations giving me a map and circling good beaches, restaurants, ice cream and breakfast places. Shout out to him, excellent customer service I've, thankyou! Bedroom - large quite comfy single bed, nice decorated room, small fridge, and nice shower room, very good value £89 for night. Hotel - magnificent beautiful building, lovely outdoor pool and quiet garden with seating dining and bar. I had a swim was fun! Thanks again for my stay Amy :)

The building itself and the rooms are stunning. I loved the stained glass windows and mosaic tiles. The rooms are clean, airy and spacious and have nice aircon. The hotel is close to the train station. Nice restaurants and bars are less than 8 min walk away, including a supermarket and pharmacy. There is an absolutely lovely little bistro that opened recently on the site of the hotel called Lova - amazing food and drinks and lovely Spanish people that care deeply for their products. A very refreshing and relaxing spot to unwind amongst the trees and plants. The host (Arno) was very kind, sociable and helpful! I will certainly try to stay at this hotel again when I come to Sitges.

Maybe the breakfast could be improved a bit, particularly for vegetarians.

Great converted main with wonderful windows, tiles and period furniture. The swimming pool, garden and bar and restaurant makes it feel like a small resort. Yet it is intimate and friendly. Reach room is different, ours was arguably the least grandiose yet it was still fantastic. And quiet, sliding double glazed windows in front of original windows with wooden shutters. Restaurants pretty good too. Great stay. Location is just outside the tourist drag, 3~5 mins walk. Supermarket and breakfast spots around the corner. Beach not far at all.

Nearby parking station is quite expensive, €25 or so per day.
