The staff were wonderful friendly and helpful...in particular Santi...he made us feel very welcome.The receptionist arranged for us to move room to a more accessible room which was more suitable for my mother.Spa was such a lovely treat and enjoyed having it for 1 hour to ourselves...pool area is lovely...perfect central location in Soller right beside train station...breakfast was good...fresh orange juice was delicious...would definately stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Traditional Mallorcan cuisine for dinner and very good breakfast, too. Spacious room, comfortable bed. The hotel is located in central Soller just next to the famous "wooden train" station and a short distance from the Main Square. Easy to get to Pama and also Port Soller by bus.

Lovely, old style, traditional Spanish hotel which has a really homely feel. Good communication before my stay. Beautiful smell when you enter! I arrived early & my room was ready which was much appreciated. Very convenient location beside the famous tram stop and yet because it’s on a quiet side street there is no noise. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. A/C was excellent. Great to have a small fridge. Room was cleaned well daily. Pool and the area around it is small but lovely, peaceful immaculately clean. Having a dip was so refreshing! Comfortable sun loungers. There are towels available at reception. Shower was excellent.

Some of the English tv channels had no picture, just sound. Would be great if it was a Smart TV. There is no lift which I didn’t mind but on the second floor some people might find that an issue. Would be nice to have a full length mirror in the room.

The location is ideal, I loved the style of the room we stayed in. It was simple, traditional country style, not flash. The shower was wonderful. A good selection of breakfast foods. Kettle, mugs, coffee, teas provided in room as well as wine glasses and corkscrew - very civilised and thoughtful, and a mini fridge. Staff cheery and helpful. The lunch and evening meals also very good.

Everything was great and I really liked the atmosphere, but for me the mattress was a little too firm. However, that’s just me liking a softer bed and hardly worth mentioning.

Restaurant and breakfast was very nice, location was perfect, staff was super friendly. Parking location also available. Would come back any time.

More of a minor issue and we would go definetly again to the hotel, but the parking was in another place in the city (as the hotel is very central). You needed to go first to the hotel when you arrived to get the key and at the end bring it back at the end of the stay. Google maps does not have actualised directions and one way streets, so more help from the hotel side would have been nice. And they maybe could have met us directly at the parking garage (which is easier to access than the hotel).

Hotel El Guia exceeded all of our expectations. The room was very clean, not noisy, towels changed every day and absolutely no complaints. The staff were also very friendly and extremely helpful, they even booked us a taxi when we left very early in the morning and offered us complimentary baguettes since we missed the buffet on the last day of our stay. The breakfast buffet was very convenient and the food was yummy, with the hotel staff being very attentive and offering to fill up our drink bottles as well. The hotel is conveniently located next to the scenic tram, and about a 10 min walk from the bus stop (we visited neighbouring areas like the Port de Soller and Deia which were pleasant too). Would 100% come back and recommend this place!

The location was slightly difficult to get to by public transport - we had to take an airport shuttle and then another bus that was tricky to find, before finally walking 1km with our suitcases to get there. However, by taxi it was about 55 euros and only half an hour, so would recommend taking a taxi to solve this problem!

We have been at the Hotel El Guía quite a few times (4 or 5) and the staff always makes us feel welcome. The rooms are nicely equipped and ours had a spectacular view of the mountains. The small pool is nice to refresh after a day of hiking.

I cannot get accustomed to the light southern European blankets. Not because they are not warm enough but because they just do not feel as cozy. The stairs are somewhat steep. If you have problems with climbing stairs you should request a room on the ground or 1st floor.

A little gem of a hotel. Such a friendly and welcoming bunch of staff, I was made to feel like a film star! The hotel is spotless and my room was stunning. i loved the wooden beams on the ceilings, the bathroom is very well stocked with luxury toiletries and the bed was very comfortable. breakfast was excellent, good choice and freshly squeezed orange juice is a must.

Super welcome on reception from Francesca , Daniel and Brit. Great service at breakfast from Maria and the other waiter. Rooms spotlessly clean and well equipped bathroom . Wonderful, traditional Majorcan hotel. Amazing atmosphere in the courtyard - loved sitting there for breakfast every day and a drink in the evening. Fabulous view from our room over the mountains!

All great - loved the nice coffee made from the machine for breakfast aswell as delicious Greek yogurt … but would have liked a better fruit selection - in particular some oranges as we were in Majorca … but everything else was perfect thank you .

Pool area a little small but good plunge pool if you just want a dip on a hot day but very limited sitting area - room was lovely and fabulous bathroom and toiletries were provided as well as a hair dryer but it was on the 3rd floor - there are no lifts which one can appreciate as it’s an old building but the last flight of stairs to our room could be tiring at the end of the day - the details said there would be a mini bar in our room - there is a small fridge which is very useful but it is empty - a bottle of water would have been good on our first night when we didn’t arrive until after 11pm and all local bars were closed or shutting
