Excellent friendly and efficient staff. All the comforts we wanted in the room. Beautiful location and stunning views. There were more Vegetarian dishes featured on your menu, which was a great improvement.

Only one small comment about the dining room lighting. During the daytime there are beautiful views from this room, but at night the overhead lighting is a little bright, and some more subtle lighting or candles on the tables, would add atmosphere to the area and improve the dining experience.

The hotel is situated on the old castle ruines, and sits above the town of Soria. The road up to the hotel is a great little road with a few hairpins which is fun on a motorbike. The hotel its self is quite modern and the facilities are plush. The staff are helpful and friendly and the roooms are great with individual balconies for each room with views over the town and distant moutains.

The additional charges on arrival were a suprise, but I suppose for the standard of the hotel the overall costs where OK.

Very nice spacious and comfortable room with an exceptional view from our balcony, parador is located at the top of big hill in the Parque de Castillo. Full facilities including bar restaurant, etc. plus nice grounds for a walk around the old castle site. A path winds its way down the hillside to the town square and also gives access to the river area below.

Nothing with the Parador, but the excellent and picturesque location, means a steep walk back up to the Parador ( a bit hot when at 35 degrees!)

Modern Parador set in a historic site with wide ranging views over Soria and beyond. Rooms were large, beds comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Staff were obliging. Restaurant had panoramic views. Food was a little disappointing.

This Parador is exceptional in every way. We booked a Superior Double room instead of a Regular Double and boy, it did not disappoint, complete with a large bathroom with an oversize tub, a large living area with two big double beds and a sofa, and a spacious enclosed balcony with tremendous views of historic Soria, the Douro River and sweeping views of the valley floor below. Not located inside the historic district, in a modern building high above the city, I really did not know what to expect. Well, it really knocked our socks off, also with plenty of free parking next to a lovely park. Also, the town of Soria itself was another pleasant surprise.

I suppose the only downside is that fact that it's a 15 to 20 minute walk down the hill to get to the historic district of Soria. But if u are a walker, it's an easy walk into town and back. I suppose this property may not be suitable for someone with mobility issues.

The view was fabulous and the bed was very comfortable

there was no facility to make a hot drink in the room which is something we would expect in a place like this. there was also no complimentary water which is pretty much standard everywhere now . There was also lots of someones long hair all over the floor in the bathroom and in the hall area.

As you would expect with Parador, the hotel is in a lovely setting on a hill alongside a ruined castle. Hotel offers a pleasant and comfortable stay whilst only being a 25 or so minute walk down the hill and into the centre of Soria. Rooms are good with excellent views.

Hotel car parking is free but the car park is a bit on the small side so will fill up quickly on busy days. Free on-road parking is also available nearby.

The quality & ambience of the hotel. Very friendly staff. Lovely serene & scenic location. Free outdoor parking.

Had dinner in the restaurant. Whilst the meals were tasty there was a lack of vegetables & too much meat. Breakfast was disappointing for the price (expensive & very ordinary).

Nice friendly hotel. Great staff. Although my Spanish is passable most of the staff spoke reasonable English. Restaurant was great and the breakfast was also very good.

Parking. We were 6 motorcycles and there was no secure parking. Only at the back of the property.

Comfortable rooms, everything was clean and functioning. Good restaurant.

Not a big deal, but if you need an invoice, check the name and relevant other details. Our surname was a fictional/botched creation which was mostly humorous.
