The view from the room was exceptional, you can see for many miles across the mountains, the hotel is perched on a hill next to the town. Parador hotel are all over Spain and really do offer good value for money, as was the case here. he room was large and clean and the beds very comfy, food was also great, we went for the full board option which was more cost effective than buying dinner separately. Parking was OK but a little restricted, but don't let that put you off as you can park on the road and it looked pretty safe to me.

Excellent friendly and efficient staff. All the comforts we wanted in the room. Beautiful location and stunning views. There were more Vegetarian dishes featured on your menu, which was a great improvement.

Only one small comment about the dining room lighting. During the daytime there are beautiful views from this room, but at night the overhead lighting is a little bright, and some more subtle lighting or candles on the tables, would add atmosphere to the area and improve the dining experience.

The hotel is situated on the old castle ruines, and sits above the town of Soria. The road up to the hotel is a great little road with a few hairpins which is fun on a motorbike. The hotel its self is quite modern and the facilities are plush. The staff are helpful and friendly and the roooms are great with individual balconies for each room with views over the town and distant moutains.

The additional charges on arrival were a suprise, but I suppose for the standard of the hotel the overall costs where OK.

The location, the comfort and the staff were helpful.

The restaurant! There were only two staff trying to serve breakfast and dinner. They worked very hard but could not keep pace with the number of people staying there. We didn’t get the food or drinks we ordered. This was very poor for such a good hotel. The bar food was much better. Also there are not enough carparking spaces.

Very nice spacious and comfortable room with an exceptional view from our balcony, parador is located at the top of big hill in the Parque de Castillo. Full facilities including bar restaurant, etc. plus nice grounds for a walk around the old castle site. A path winds its way down the hillside to the town square and also gives access to the river area below.

Nothing with the Parador, but the excellent and picturesque location, means a steep walk back up to the Parador ( a bit hot when at 35 degrees!)

Cafeteria food was very poor, we ordered club sandwich, it came without chips. The next night we ordered the hamburger, it was raw apart from the outside edges, the lady had disappeared so I couldn't ask her to take it back, I left the burger and ate everything else

Modern Parador set in a historic site with wide ranging views over Soria and beyond. Rooms were large, beds comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Staff were obliging. Restaurant had panoramic views. Food was a little disappointing.

This Parador is exceptional in every way. We booked a Superior Double room instead of a Regular Double and boy, it did not disappoint, complete with a large bathroom with an oversize tub, a large living area with two big double beds and a sofa, and a spacious enclosed balcony with tremendous views of historic Soria, the Douro River and sweeping views of the valley floor below. Not located inside the historic district, in a modern building high above the city, I really did not know what to expect. Well, it really knocked our socks off, also with plenty of free parking next to a lovely park. Also, the town of Soria itself was another pleasant surprise.

I suppose the only downside is that fact that it's a 15 to 20 minute walk down the hill to get to the historic district of Soria. But if u are a walker, it's an easy walk into town and back. I suppose this property may not be suitable for someone with mobility issues.

No info on the rooms about anything. Meals drinks tv ec. Strange for a 4* hotel. Poor info about how to walk down to town . Several people in same predicament. A few signs would do the trick. Hotel map useless.

Very large room overlooking the Duero river. The Hotel is next to a very nice park on top of a hill, about 10 minutes walk from the City centre. Very nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner; good selection of food!
