1)The staff at the reception was very helpful and welcoming, I want to thank especially the lady originally from Ukraine, she was so nice, gave invaluable tips about Tarragona, fish restaurants, and the best beaches to visit! 2) The stay was very peaceful in general, we had a room with the park view.

1) We were woken up at 9:40 on our first morning in the hotel and at 9:15 the next one to be offered room cleaning services… Thanks but we were hoping to sleep in. We did hang the ‘Do not disturb” sign in the subsequent nights, but it just seemed strange, considering that this hotel has a check-out time of 12:00. 2) One of the lamps at bedside was not working, afterall we didn’t use it but wouldn’t expect such a shortcoming from Marriott. 3) The general cleanliness has room for improvement, like the trash bins in the room and bathroom didnt have bags inside and it didn’t leave a positive impression either. Though the room cleaning was done very well each day.

I stayed at this hotel whilst enroute to Alicante for one night mid July 25. The hotel's location is central to the town and 20min walk to the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful. I used the hotel's underground carpark which is safe and secure for 13 euros per day. The rooms are comfortable with a good sized bed and really good pillows. WiFi is fast and free. Breakfast was good with a selection to suit most people. I paid 182 euros for 2 people breakfast and parking for one night,I would recommend this hotel, however if you require parking it's the best choice. You'll not get 24hrs parking in Tarragona for 13euros. Great value.

It was near the bus station which suited us as we’d caught the Hife bus that morning. We knew we’d be far too early for check in but the reception staff allowed us to leave our luggage with them. We were very happy with the room. It was clean and had everything we needed. Our room overlooked the park so it was quiet with a nice outlook. Only a short walk to the main areas but also close to a shopping centre. Some of the reviews put us off pre-booking breakfast. The man on reception suggested having a look first to see what we thought. It looked lovely and it was . My husband is vegetarian and there was plenty of choice for him . All members of staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again .

Good room. Good view and kept clean

The air conditioning seemed to draw air from the Solarium area. We noticed a strong smell of tobacco coming through the system on the last night which I suspect was caused by people smoking in the Solarium . I would suggest that this outside area should be made non-smoking like the rest of the hotel. I used the gymnasium which was great but the cycling machines could do with attention as on one the peddles did not turn smoothly and on the other a pedal strap was broken

Breakfast was very good. Very centrally located near a big bus station. Also only a short walk to a large shopping centre. There is a pharmacy and supermarket across the road. The beaches are easily reached by a number of buses only a short walk from the hotel. Staff are very welcoming. Hotel is really quiet which is an added bonus. Beds are super comfy.

The parking was horrible! The car's tires could not keep traction on the floor as we went up and down the ramps, and clearly, other cars had crashed into the walls when navogatingthe narrow ramps with the slippery flooring. Also, after the scary ride to the exit, the passenger had to exit the car to look for the button to get out, it ended up being a floor down from the exit. Although we loved the location and amenities, the impossible parking would prevent us from returning.

Very comfortable bed and air conditioned room, cleaned every day. Quiet room no noise from road or other guests - we were on second floor Very pleasant and helpful staff. Tea and coffee available in room. Hotel car park could not accommodate our car but underground public car (2m height limit) very close 6eur/day with plenty of space.

I really enjoyed the hotel I visited. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and helped me with all my questions, she was very helpful. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, and the hotel was very clean. I also want to mention that the lady working in the breakfast hall was very helpful and attentive during breakfast. Her care and attention made the breakfast experience even more enjoyable. Overall, all the hotel staff showed professionalism and excellent service, making my hotel experience truly great.

This is a nice hotel in a quiet position but 5 minutes walk away from Rambla Nova. Perfect really. There was plenty of room in the parking garage and this was easy to access. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Aircon and Wifi were good and easy to operate. We requested a quiet room and were given one overlooking a small park and away from the traffic. Breakfast was good and there were enough choices of food and drink. The restaurant did not serve meals, but there was a room service menu available with a respectable range of dishes. There are an incredible number of eateries within easy walk of the hotel. Many of them are in the square by the ayuntamiento (20 minutes gentle walk) and there are fish restaurants in El Serrallo which is further to walk. There are usually taxis outside the hotel. We left the car in the parking garage as we were advised that parking is limited and expensive in the town. Tarragona is a pleasant town with beaches, a busy port, a fishing 'village' and some lovely buildings. There are roman buildings scattered through the town. The Circo Romano didn't look like very much until you went in, under and up it. 2.50 euros for a pensioner entry was money well spent. Rambla Nova has a pedestrianised wide walkway and a fantastic monument to the human towers. The fiesta featuring the tower competitions was due to start the following week. The staff were pkeasant and heloful, especially those on reception We left the hotel 2 days earlier than we had planned and we were refunded in full the money for thise days.

We would have liked a restaurant or cafe/bar service. Particularly since the reception seating area was so pleasant

I had booked car parking and inform by hotel the parking was small and narrow. I still requested parking. On arrival told no parking available as it was full. We spend considerable time trying to find parking, parking is a premium in Tarragona. There should be better alternatives, maybe an arrangements with a parking station at discount price.
