The hotel and its décor are truly unique and special – beautifully designed, spacious, and full of character. The location is a gem in Úbeda, just as Úbeda itself is a gem to explore. The only downside for me was the restaurant service – we ended up waiting 1.5 hours for lunch. However, it was clear the waiter was working alone and doing his utmost under a lot of pressure. In the end, our lunch was waived due to the delay, which we appreciated. Aside from that, the staff were wonderful, and the setting and location are absolutely spectacular. If i have the opportunity, i would surely visit again.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning!!! A beautiful tastefully restored and decorated old palacial building. Our bedroom was just gorgeous, so spacious and elegant! Excellent air conditioning too! All the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming! The breakfast was also great! And the hotel is in the perfect location for exploring the old town! Would definitely stay again 😃

The bed was a little on the firm side for us and the pillows a bit hard.

The size of the room. It was a suite to which we were upgraded. The comfort of the extra large bed, the natural light, the size and the equipment of the bathroom. All was wonderful. Location is perfect. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and polite. The conversion of an old palace is done well with up to best standard facilities and very tasteful preserving as much as possible the charm of an old palace.

the breakfast could be slightly improved, particularly for the baked products offered.

The property itself is outstanding. You definitely have the feeling you were in a palace and being spoiled. It is truly beautiful and luxurious.! We considered the Parador however, there is absolutely no comparison! We stayed in room 213. The room is probably 600 ft.² it has an enormous king size bed, tall ceilings, wood floors, a bathroom with a bidet, huge shower, slippers, robes, and you feel very pampered.

What we didn’t like was the shower floor. It definitely needed some cleaning with bleach. We did address this with the front desk and before we went to bed they cleaned and made it much better, but it still needs a thorough cleaning.

The hotel is very good, it goes well with the style of the city. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good, the room was clean and very spacious, if I'm going back, I'll definitely stay there again.

The pool and the spa were closed or they were doing maintenance, so couldn't try it. There are only one or two temporary parking spots in front of the hotel, which makes your baggage drop from and to the hotel a little bit more complicated since there is no other space to park close to the hotel.

Definitely was a very nice hotel 20 years ago. The bedrooms are very spacious and very comfortable

The facilities regarding the pool area are very old and dirty. Cheap and very few sunbeds, loud music like in Jesolo. We were asked to tell when we will arrive and I wrote a time and however we had to wait 10 minutes bevor anyone showed up. Some things in the bedrooms are outdated and not working.

The staff were lovely. Breakfast was excellent, and so was the waiter The food in the restaurant was very nice and plentiful and the older waitress was lovely The hotel is in the heart of the small city so we did not have to go far to see the Rennaisance buildings and architecture. The room was very comfortable and warm, and there was a heated toilet seat.

Everything was good

This is a beautiful hotel close to the centre of the town. The rooms are huge with everything required. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I'd single out Miguel particularly who led me to the secure parking round a one-way street in front of my motorbike. He also assisted us with our luggage to our room. Also, the food in the hotel was excellent.

Tricky to find down a myriad of one-way, narrow streets off the town centre - even the satnav got confused before we found the hotel.

Location is excellent in the heart of the old city of úbeda within walking distance of all sights and the modern city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was spacious and well laid out.

Wifi didn't really work at all outside of the common areas on the ground floor - understandably because it's a very old property. connectivity in the town generally was poor and many shops shunned card payment because of this, preferring cash. The electricals circuit in our room didn't work on one side although to be fair they immediately identified this and provided a table for use on the other side for the coffee machine. In the bathroom shampoo was provided in the shower using a fixed dispenser, as is often done these days BUT that meant that we had no shampoo to use in the bath, which was a feature of the bathroom. These are all niggles and overall it was a lovely place.

I liked everything about this hotel, firstly the actual building is exceptional, an old palace (also on the sightseeing tours- you see groups being told about it outside the entrance). It's also right in the centre of the old town within the old city walls, so you can walk everywhere really easily. The rooms are huge, and clean and have amazing decoration and facilities (including a toilet that that has a control panel on the side!!!) There is a swimming pool, lounge and comfy reception area. The breakfast was really good a large range of very good food.

It would have been nice if the swimming pool had some heating, my wife managed a very quick swim but it was too cold for me and it is quite nice after a long day of walking to have a dip before going out for dinner (but this in no way reduces the score, it was amazing that it had a pool at all) The Wifi in the room was not that great but once again that doesn't affect the score as you can get great reception in the reception area that has comfy seats.
