Great location for an overnight stop on the way to Santander. Friendly staff and lovely room

the restaurant was open from 20.30 but when we arrived at 20.45 there were no lights on and no sign of life. Reception had to call to ask them to open up.. We were the only people eating there. There is a set menu which sounded good but unfortunately the asparagus we chose was preserved even though it is in season in Spain and not very pleasant. My husbands pork cheeks were congealed and were probably reheated in the microwave. My veal chop was very rare not the medium I had asked for and both our chips were luke warm. The waitress and chef could be heard discussing the veal and she did return to ask if it was OK but as the rest of the meal would have been cold if they had taken it back to cook more. Unfortunately there are no other restaurants near

Higienic. I forgot my toothbrush and paste and they had it there in the room. The beds were comfortable and so was the room. There was a lot of parking outside so it was easy to park, but we came in the low season. I don't know how easy it would be in the summer. There wasn't any issue.

You can hear people a bit through the wall (Having sex). There is an option for breakfast for 5 euros that is coffee, juice and toast. I don't think it's worth it since you would get better and cheaper anywhere in the city.

Overnight stop on the way to ferry at Bilbao. Great position, literally minutes from the motorway but not noisy. Good sizes room, bath and shower and plenty of hot water. Pleasant cafeteria and helpful staff. Ate here in the evening with the set menu (Mon-Fri) Great value. Good wine list. A smattering of Spanish on out part would have helped but staff very happy to accommodate this. Would certainly stay again.

Cleanliness of room and hotel, comfortable room and bed. Lady on reception very helpful, nothing too much trouble.

Barman in cafeteria very unwelcoming to us. Everything we asked he made out he did not understand, even when we asked to look at the menu he made out he did not understand then walked away muttering under his breath!! Room service food arrived with no covers on the food, not very hygienic then food was cold and the waiter was very sullen.

A good location for car travellers. Friendly staff. Spacious room with a big bathroom. Clean. There is a restaurant at the hotel.

My room was 119 and wallpaper seams were nasty. They were taped at some point and the tape was later ripped off leaving a glue trace. Also, I had hard time finding a socket as they were completely hidden behind heavy bedside tables. I could only unplug a lamp at the table and use it's socket. So that was only one usable socket for a room for two people which is not enough.

WE returned to this Hotel after our trip to Portugal. On the returne trip we decided up grade our room .Well worth the extra money. Food in the restaurant was good Spanish food, Because we speak little Spanish a few problems to start with but sorted it without any problems. Staff were great and put themselves out to help us. A great midway stop from Santander Ferry port to Portugal.

Nothing could not be better

The hotel was very nice and the hotel restaurant was exceptional.

Unfortunately the mattress was really uncomfortable and we were unable to sleep. It was surprising that the bedding was so bad in such a nice hotel.

Huge Room, comfy beds , perfect for overnight stop off en route from Portugal to France.

Its just 'on street' parking - we were lucky and got a spot just outside the hotel but its limited in number of spaces. Its on the main road so its noisy if you open any windows

The room was nice and comfortable the staff were lovely And the tapas and food in the bar was good.

The outlook wasn't the best .we stayed when the weather wasn't so good but there was a lovely outdoor area to sit and have a drink and food

Good location off the motorway for overnight stop enroute to ferry and found space to park outside with a trailer.

Room quite small to get around but comfortable and clean.
