This is the fourth occasion that we have stayed at El Llano, the two most recent visits for a month. On this occasion we were joined by our son, daughter and their families for the first couple of weeks. The staff were welcoming and the solar heated pool a real bonus and loved by adults and children alike. The pool is surrounded by a delightful garden area. The property is centrally located and a very short walk from two beaches. There are some very good restaurants nearby and the nearest supermarket only meters away. Laundry facilities are available.

Nothing - we really enjoyed our stay.

The stay was very comfortable and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is great as it’s near many restaurants and there is a supermarket within 2 minutes walk. Everything we needed was within 10 min walk of the property. The pool was great and we had a very relaxing stay. I highly recommend El Llano. We used Autobuses Mesa (www.autobusesmesa.com) for transportation from Tenerife to La Gomera, they dropped us off at El Llano. For anyone who needs transportation, I recommend booking with them.

The apartments are set around a pool with a lovely garden area of palm trees. Not sure why apartments face out to road rather than pool area. Supermarkets and restaurant close by. Staff were friendly and quick with answers to questions. Apartment was very good and spacious with all basics. It would have been good to have a pool bar.

Main grumble over our apartment (B23) was that its garden area looked out to local bins on the road. There was regular noise from an adjacent underground garage door opening and shutting. Our bedroom window looked into the pool area and had garden staff and life guards passing by. We had to keep curtains closed. I appreciate these problems are relevant to this apartment but were a source of annoyance on an otherwise enjoyable stay.

It's even more picturesque than in the advertisement photographs. Beautiful palm filled grounds and pool area, and tranquil. This establishment is extremely well run and maintained; housekeeping and reception staff were exceptional. We had ground floor apartments with delightful little private gardens, visited by blackbirds and sparrows. Sunny terraces with excellent awnings, which were welcome, even in February. Apartments were very nicely furnished with good kitchen equipment, though not enough electrical sockets for the appliances. The location is perfect: close to the beach and the gorgeous Vueltas harbour. The Spar supermarket and German Bakery (too tempting) are very close.

It's usually booked up, especially if you need to stay less than a week.

We love the town of Valle Gran Rey, it’s got a very laid back vibe, helped by the fact that very few English people stay here. Fantastic scenery. The Residencial El Llano is in a great location, very peaceful yet just a short walk to shops, bars, restaurants, beach, harbour and bus stop. Very comfortable well-equipped accommodation. Brilliant heated pool, great for swimming, and no shortage of sunbeds. Would definitely stay here again.

Balcony could have been a bit bigger.

5th or 6th time staying here. Very quiet complex close to the bars, shops and restaurants in Valle Gran Rey. Clean, tidy apartment and well equipped - enough equipment to be able to prepare meals in the apartment. Staff lovely and very helpful. A lovely place to stay if you want somewhere that offers a very chilled vibe and is withing walking distance of the amenities and the beaches.

This was our second time in the hotel. We liked the hospitality, the polite and helpful staff, the pool, the neighborhood. The only thing that was a bit unpleasant was that we got only 4 very small bars of soap for 3 of us for the whole stay of 9 days. I strongly recommend the place. It is comfortable, relaxing, and worth the money. I would like to visit it again.

The pool is beautiful and the green area around the pool is perfect. Clean and spacious apartment in great location (adjoining spar and opposite the fantastic bakery).

The caged parrots were upsetting to me as i gate seeing birds in such tiny cages. Not sure if they had anything to do with the apartments but they seemed to be living in the end apartment. Otherwise was all great.

5th time visit. Great location in Valle Gran Rey. Lovely complex with beautiful gardens surrounding the pool. Quiet. Very friendly staff. Apartment big and airy. No air con but big ceiling fan in the bedroom and windows open (we didn’t have problems with mosquitoes or noise) meant it was not missed. Well equipped with enough kitchen equipment to make basic meals (and a kettle and tea pot to allow English guests to make tea!!). Supermarket a couple of mins walk bc away and a short walk to good restaurants and the beach in the port.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Fabulous pool area, surrounded by lovely palm trees and gardens. We were hiking in La gomera and this was an excellent base. Bus stop a few minute walk , good supermarket nearby too. We also found the area very quiet, especially at night. Will definitely be back to stay here.
