Really nice looking place overall (courtyard) at a good location in Vallehermoso. There’s only people at the reception until 15:00, but if you arrive after that, you can pick up the key easily. Comfortable beds. Amazing buffet breakfast! All that you would wish for and really good coffee. Really nice staff!

We had the room with a couch downstairs, staircase up and sleeping upstairs. Bathroom was very cold. Lighting was super white, which wasn’t so cosy (they could maybe change the light bulbs to a warmer colored one). We didn’t manage to open the blinds in the bedroom area (we didn’t have the key), which made it dark. It was very windy when we were there and throughout the night there was noise of something moving (blinds?).

The staff were so kind and caring. I had a cough so asked them for a kettle for the room, which they provided and then asked me how I was the next day. Honestly such nice people. The room was nice and the wooden shutters can block out all light.

You can hear a lot of people around you, and they can also hear you sing in the shower :') But there was not much noise in the night.

Nice staff, good and diverse breakfast, good coffee and quiet location.

The room (no 12) needs some maintenance: the walls were full of marks and stains requiring some touch-ups, the floor was also badly scratched and stained. It created a first impression of lack of care. The mattress was also very uncomfortable.

Great breakfast and the lady serving us was lovely, particularly since she’d only had about 3 hrs sleep after the carnival the previous night 😂. Excellent location.

Finding a spiral staircase leading to the bedroom was not my favourite thing, having just walked 15 miles and over 1500m of elevation gain carrying big packs!!

Location is central in the town. The little beach is less than an hour's walk away and there are restaurants, shops and a bus stop nearby. Several good walks can be taken from this starting point. Room was ready and easy to access on arrival. Good facilities in room (en suite, hair dryer, hangers for clothes, places to plug in computers/phone etc) and shower had good pressure/temperature range. Bed felt comfortable after hiking and hotel was quiet in the evening. Breakfast had a good range, reasonable for vegetarians and some meats too, and the fruit was enjoyable. As recommended by the hotelier, I tried the local palm syrup, which had a great flavour to it, though sweet. Staff provided advice on food and local transport / activities (my Spanish is poor, but we managed well). I was grateful for the flexibility re. luggage at my check out time. Overall a relaxing place in a very beautiful valley.

All was good on my visit. There was not one problem. If not already available, it may be helpful to have a list of names of foods normally served at breakfast, including translations in common languages. Something like this could be helpful for people with dietary requirements, e.g. gluten intolerance.

Location/availability...not a lot of accommodation in Vallemoso! Nice breakfast, plenty of choice and quantity!

No English speaking staff? Bed mattresses not the comfiest. Fridge constantly making a noise through the night....I guess I should of unplugged it!

Breakfast was great, and staff very nice. Vallehermoso cute mountain town and good base for hiking (up around Roque Cano). Nice place (and not many other options in town).

Some rooms are on two levels with tiny spiral staircase between them which is a little funky, not a problem for a few days. Would still stay there again.

The room was very clean and beautiful and I felt really comfortable. Also the staff working there was super kind and helpful, the breakfast had everything one could need. Anytime I come back to La Gomera, I‘d also come back to this place Thank you again! :)

Breakfast was fabulous and the personnel also:) The room was not so cosy. I think that with few changes (better lightning, sofa and etc. would change the situation). The location was perfect in Vallehermossa. The best dinner place was actually in other hotel but hotel Rural personnel did not recommended the place.

Great location close to centre of Vallehermoso and bus station. Basic but comfortable room and delicious breakfast with real coffee served by very kind and helpful staff. Nice big courtyard for socialising

Fridge in room, but no kettle or kitchenware. But there are tables outside in the courtyard.
