I had an incredible stay at Barceló Santiago! The views from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking, providing a stunning backdrop for the entire trip. The variety of food offered was impressive, catering to all tastes with delicious and well-prepared dishes. The highlight of the evenings was undoubtedly the amazing shows and entertainment, especially the sport program by Sofi, who made the experience even more enjoyable with her energy and charm. The hotel was spotless, and the staff ensured everything was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place!

Parking in the area

It was absolutely beautiful, the view of the mountains were insane! Every part of the hotel is perfect, from the pool areas, to the buffet, the spa, gym and rooms. One of the nicest hotels I’ve been too and I would definitely recommend.

Amazing views of the Ocean and Los Gigantes from our balcony - felt like the extra cost of an Ocean View room was worth it! We were really happy with the food - fresh meat/seafood and the themed nights meant the food was different each day. Plenty of sunbeds, so there was no stress finding a nice place to relax each day. Great to be so close to Los Gigantes and Teide National Park.

A lot of noise and loud music in the evenings coming from nearby bars/hotels - didn't impact our overall experience but it was a shame to have the tranquil evenings spoiled by the noise.

Views are amazing! Also staff and food quality is really good. There is good range of entertainment, great pool bar that is reasonable, if you have just part of boarding. Staff reacts really quickly to requests. Room maintenaince is very good and just overal well managed hotel.

Just some people being cheeky smoking at pool, would be great if they are managed more efficiently and escorted of the beds to smoking area. Overal, is just about guests really, one couple was really aggressive with their umbrella claiming they 'reserved it' earlier. Also, some people behaviours at restaurant just rude. I encourage staff to tell off guests that are rude :)

The food from the pool bar was the best quality and tasty. Friendly Staff.

Loud noise during late hours 10pm-1am. Possibly employees cleaning or moving the chairs upstairs near the pool bar. There should be a way to organise a football game on their outside pitch. Drinks Service at dinner sometimes slow. Should be a drinks station (non-alcoholic) during dinner times as well as a tea/coffee stand open.

Spacious and plenty of sunbeds and areas to chill out. Design of hotel very clever and meant everything was fairly close.

Very clean hotel. Beautiful hotel in amazing location, 3 swimming pools - one heated, spacious not crowded. Jacuzzi. Room specious with comfy beds, quiet. Balcony with amazing view. Delicious breakfast and dinners. Bar with delicious cocktails. Good entertainment. And most important thing : amazing stuff very polite and smiling all the time.

People reserved sun beds with towels from early morning hours and didn’t show until late afternoon!!!

This small resort town was away from the madness of the south of the island. The hotel, itself, is in a magnificent location with fantastic views from the bedrooms, bar, restaurant, buffet room & sun terraces. The staff were incredibly friendly, without being intrusive. The buffet was good...but the restaurant 'El Olivo' was absolutely fantastic and it's a shame that more guests don't opt for it, even if they're on a full board basis and getting buffet as part of package. Rooms were clean & spacious. The shower in our room was a little bit tight, but workable. I'd gladly return!!!

I think that water should be provided - maybe a water cooler, or even a filter tap. I think it's nonsense that people are forced into purchasing bottled water.

Staff are amazing - helpful, friendly, genuine customer service. Reception staff helped change our room with no problem and organised early breakfast for us when we had an early excursion. Pool area - loved the three pools, the fact that one was heated, and of course the views. Nightly entertainment - some of the live music and acts were so incredible! Location - not in the party zone of Tenerife (double thumbs up). Lovely area with a few shops and restaurants within walking distance. Many of the tours and excursions will pick up and drop off from the hotel. Taxi rank right outside the hotel. Food - good. Better on some evenings than others; each night is a theme (Italian, American, Asian, Spanish, Canarian etc.) but always had a decent dinner. Breakfast buffet is really great. Overall: great resort, relaxed vibes and a great place for a chill holiday or to use a base to explore Tenerife.

Very loud room - live music from hotel entertainment finished, then live music from local town bar started. You could hear the music all over the small town. So crazy that it was that loud. I felt sorry for the local residents. Reception staff helped us change room the next day with no problem - they came back to us with a very affordable room upgrade which made our stay so much better! THANK YOU! The colleague at reception mentioned that their entertainment wasn't usually that loud. This turned out to be true, it was never that loud again on the other nights.
