This is a lovely, charming, traditional hotel - very much not a soul-less chain hotel. It was perfect for our holiday, and it was lovely to be right in the town's main street. And, of course, the hotel restaurant was superb: our meals were by far the best we have had on our week-long holilday touring the Pyrenees - and, even better, they were really not expensive compared with the rest of the town.

The hotel provides a quirky but wonderfully comfortable environment that cannot be matched by modern hotels. Its unique style may not suit everyone but we selected the hotel because of this and were not disappointed. The personal, friendly reception matched our mental image of the architecture. It all just worked. We would definitely come here again. It is a destination.

Kind and helpful staff, a charming building full of small pieces of the community's past and culture. Very close to a big supermarket and bus stop.

There was no refrigerator, but that's not such a big problem ☺️

This is an outstanding family-run hotel. All the staff is very friendly and quick to help, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are kept in good condition thanks to great housekeeping, the facilities are always clean and tidy, the breakfast is complete and always served fresh, the restaurant serves also lunch and dinners with a large selection of dishes and delicious meals at reasonable prices. They even offer a complimentary, cosy spa pool and steam room! Original decoration all over the place that makes you feel in a unique place. Highly recommendable, obviously!

Very minor observation, but some of the room light-switches were positioned close to the bed-heads and might get switch unintentionally.

The Hotel Aran la Abuela was quirky and fun. We loved the location - right in town where we could walk to everything but quiet at night. We had a balcony right over the main street. Receptionist was very informative and gave us insights about the Aran Valley.

The location was great, in the centre of Vielha, near to bars and restaurants. Lovely cosy hotel. We enjoyed a great meal in the restaurant. The staff couldn't do enough. We would return to this hotel

There could have been a reduced rate for the children's breakfast.

The hotel is lovely. Really nice lobby/bar area. We especially enjoyed sitting by the fireplace enjoying a glass of wine. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Perfect location.

It’s situated on. main street with only a short term parking lay-by for three cars at max to load and unload.

The decoration was very cozy and the staff friendly. The location was amazing as it was in the middle of the city center.

The rooms are a bit old.
