Wonderful hotel, with wonderful, friendly staff. The hotel is beautiful, inside and out, with plenty to keep children occupied. Our room was large with a balcony, and we had a peaceful, undisturbed sleep. Dinner was delicious, the waitress was friendly and helpful. Great selection for the whole family, even our kids who are really picky eaters. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with an amazing array of breakfast goodies and freshly squeezed orange juice. We only had an overnight stop as we were travelling further South, but this hotel would make a great base for a longer stay.

The manager is really friendly and helpful and we couldn’t have asked for more. Our bed was comfortable and it was great to have a bath - there’s plenty of hot water. The parking is good - lots of spaces in a covered area, and the location is ideal if you’re travelling from N to S. we enjoyed a relax in the garden and a swim in the covered pool. I liked the positives of this hotel so I feel bad to say that the only thing we weren’t so happy with was the breakfast. It is very clean and well laid out and the freshly squeezed orange juice has stopped me from choosing the sad emoji

The hotel is good value and would suit anybody who needs a quick stop near the motorway. However, in our view the breakfast is really overpriced - we paid €13.5 and we felt that that was way over a fair price. The coffee wasn’t that good and the machine is on the blink so we needed help all the time. The toaster was also inadequate and I put my bread through three times and it still wasn’t properly toasted. We definitely wouldn’t have the breakfast again - however we would definitely stay here again. The location and the fantastic welcome and lovely manner of the manager were really good, plus it’s great to have good parking.

I have stayed at the hotel many times with my dog, it is incredibly well placed to break the journey from Santander to/from the Med coastal areas, dogs are welcome in the cafeteria annex in the hotel, there is a very good walk from the village of Santo Tome Del Puerto which takes you to an Area Recretivo (Los Bonales), about 2 k, although there is a 20 € supplement for pets, I think it was good value overall. I would only recommend that they perhaps lower the pet charge, as with other dog owners, we leave little trace of use by dogs, but this is a minor complaint overall.

Lovely place, nice receptionist easy book in, no evening menu meal, thought the choices were expensive, and the member of staff on the evening shift in the restaurant wasn't very helpful, I thought she couldn't be bothered, no smile, didn't help with the menu. However the staff member in the morning for breakfast was lovely, extremely helpful and kind, couldn't do enough for us. Room was lovely, comfy bed, supplied extra blankets as it was a bit chilly, bathroom lovely and warm, radiator on and felt cozy.

This is a great roadside stop with a very idiosyncratic swimming pool (bonus). Rooms are very good and there is secure parking. Interesting building.

The restaurant needed a lot of work on the night we were there. To be fair they had some fairly unpleasant diners who spoke 'English and nothing else', quite rudely, and waiters dealt well with that situation! But the menus both English and Spanish are chaotic, three versions. and to order a 'perdiz salad with melon' that contained no perdiz and a lot of pears and walnuts is very strange. Even stranger is to be served soft meat which was.most likely rabbit on the side, when we asked where the perdiz had gone. I am sure this can be fixed and it was still a great place to stay.

Good value for the hotel, didn’t use the pool but sure it’s a bonus to the hotel. Had a few drinks in the cafeteria which doubles as the bar. Comfortable beds and slept very well. We would stay again. Food very good.

A bit dated but clean and not a problem. The only real problem we had was the 10% service charge added to everything, including buying 1 beer for €4.50 which was charged at €4.95 to include the service charge. I was not given the opportunity to dispute this, I handed over €5 for the beer but was given 5c in change! I even went to the bar myself to get the beer and took it back to my table! The charge was also included on our evening meal.

We have travelled between UK and Southern Spain twice a year since 2020. We have changed overnight location each time striving for the one that best suits our needs as we travel with our dog. When we stayed at Hotel Mirasierra we hit the jackpot, extremely comfortable beds, a powerful shower and decent food. We will definitely be staying here again.

The additional charge (€20) for the dog is a little high. Previous hotels have cost between €0-€15

Restaurant, food was great tasting and freshly cooked. The waitress gave us some speciality pork called cochina to try and it was delicious. The waitress was professional but friendly and fun too! The reception staff were also very professional, and when our onward ferry crossing was delayed they permitted us to delay our check out. This was very considerate and very much appreciated as it allowed us to make some important phone calls on the day in a relaxed environment. They also leant us a travel adapter which was handy. I liked the active approach to sustainability, the fact that the lights turned on and off automatically as you went through the building, saving electricity. Room, this was clean and very comfortable, the bathroom was also clean and included a bidet!

We couldn't fault the hotel and the professional, friendly and accommodating manner of the staff, gold stars all round!

WE have used this hotel many times as it suits our needs completely It is next to the main road without being too noisy, next to a petrol station, the rooms are clean and comfy, they welcome pets, the food is good and we can pay on arrival and for what we eat in the restaurant so are not delays on checkout. Also the parking is secure and locked at night. It ticks all the boxes for us.

Previously had ground floor rooms which are accessed by short flight of stairs. This time had an upper floor room which was much easier to access by lift for husband with mobility problem and large dog. Nice big room, with small balcony and bathroom which was all very clean and comfy. Easy to find just off motorway with petrol station adjacent, which offers discount to hotel guests on tools.
