It was more like an apartment than a room! There was a sitting area, an entrance with somewhere to put shoes and coats, and a balcony with a great view. The huge bathroom had a bath as well as a shower, with a bidet and dressing gowns and slippers. The bed was the largest I've ever seen, and was firm but comfortable, and the room was dark and quiet for sleeping. There was a proper kettle for making our tea and instant porridge. We didn't have breakfast, as we were in a hurry, but we wished we'd booked 2 nights! The hotel is right in the centre of Zamora, so we could walk everywhere. The parking was excellent with a lift to bring up your luggage.
Nothing. It's a great place.

Quiet location in a converted distillery next to an old church. Five minutes walk uphill to the city centre. Large airy room with a very comfortable bed. The room was clean for our arrival, after that we took advantage of the free drink if you don't have daily cleaning. Zamora is a lovely city and well worth the visit.
The bath/shower is dangerous. It is very slippy and has a wide cill so it is very hard to get in or out without slipping. The daily cleaning is good but the room could do with a deep clean especially along the grouting and in corners it needs some bleach! Such a pity as the rest of the facilities were good.

Location and setting. Built within and around a very old and beautiful church. Within walking distance of most things. Close to the river. Staff could not have been more helpful. Rooms were small but spotless. Warm and cosy bed. Dinner in restaurant was fabulous. The food was outstanding. The breakfast was great too. Lots of choices and the omelette made to order was delicious.
Could not pick a fault.

Everything excellent. Location: in a quiet place, 5 minut-walk from the Plaza Mayor and with free parking close-by; Facilities (the superior room was great: spacious, quiet and clean, with everything needed); Staff: friendly and informative. Made our two-night stay in Zamora memorable.
We liked everything. We didn't have breakfast so we can't comment of the cafeteria or the restaurant (however, there are plenty of fine places to eat a5/10-walk away from the hotel).

All in all, a really nice and comfortable hotel, in a quiet and central position, with honest rates.
There is no electric kettle in the room and it is not possible to have only a coffee at breakfast: they bounced us from the breakfast room, saying that the staff was too busy to get us a coffee, which we would have paid for. This, I find quite incredible, but luckily there's a bar basically around the corner that opens early in the morning.

Really unique, historic, and beautiful property. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room with very nice amenities and a very good shower. Excellent location right in the heart of the old town area. Friendly and efficient staff. Secure storage for our bicycles.
I really can't think of a thing I would change or a service that was lacking.

The hotel was within easy walking distance of the town and was a beautiful building itself. The room was very nice with a lovely balcony overlooking the old building. The breakfast was particularly good.
While there was 15 minute parking at the hotel, it was quite difficult to find parking in the area. It was, therefore, a bit annoying to see the SUVs parked overnight in the 15 minute spaces!

Very quiet and spacious room. Very good, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Pretty good location - a few minutes up a steep hill to town centre and restaurants, but easily done in 10 minutes. Characterful with a lovely Romanesque church right outside.
Nothing really - a little pricey, particularly the dinner. Guess you have to pay for what is a high quality hotel!

Lovely location next to beautiful historical building. Staff very helpful, huge single beds in twin room. Easy walk into the centre. Parking for hotel is in an underground garage with a 2 metre height restriction but free street parking nearby if you can find it. We booked this room as could not find a campsite near to the town. Very much enjoyed the luxury of the large comfortable, clean, modern room.
Tea and coffee making facility would have been nice but not a deal breaker!

Amazing art work and integration into a romanesque church. Very interesting hotel and well positioned. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
Room service food cold and poor quality. Breakfast only just reached average standards.
