the hotel is a small boutique hotel, room are cozy and clean. the staff is very nice and I have to say service was one of the best in Sri Lanka. well organized and fast, good food quality

the room are not well insulated therefore you can hear the noise of other guest, if you are unlucky, like us and you meet a rude bunch of people that slams doors and shout until 1 in the morning and again from 6, then you can’t get a proper rest. but if you are lucky the structure and staff are very nice.

The staff are outstanding. Friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and our vegan diet was easily catered for. The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is free parking behind a secure gate, and the location is convenient for visiting local sites. The pool is beautiful and a great setting alongside which to eat a meal.

We couldn't get the TV to work but then, we didn't really need to watch it.

we really liked this small hotel, especially the very attentive staff, nice rooms and cozy atmosphere. also the restaurant in the hotel was a pleasant surprise - all the dishes were well cooked and served

quite noisy from the outside , dogs were barking the whole night, so the sound isolation in the room is weak

The Sri Lankan food was a real highlight here. We had an amazing banquet of rice and curry which was some of the best during our visit. It was priced in USD but worth the relative expense. Room was modern and clean with all required facilties (apart from a safe, although gated security was very tight around the property). Staff were friendly and professional.

A mosquito net for the bed would have been a useful option.

Great hotel to stay in Anuradhapura. In some of the other reviews the food gets some poor comments. We found that if you stuck with the Sri Lankan menu the food was excellent, particularly the chicken and fish curries. Very welcoming host and really attentive staff. They also made an excellent packed breakfast for our 5am safari start.

This property is a really nice oasis if peace. Everything is very well taken care of and very clean. Breakfast was really nice and personeel extremely gentle.

There’s nothing close by, but management is always available to call a tuktuk. The small double room we booked was very very small, but very clean and nice.

The pool area is gorgeous and the food was delicious! We really enjoyed the preset dinner menu and my husband loved trying a Sri Lankan breakfast for the first time. The manager and wait staff were also very helpful and kind.

The wifi didn’t work around the property and the shower door didn’t close all the way, but it wasn’t a big deal.

A clean stylish,well presented boutique hotel. Excellent service and very good food. On the day we left we had a problem with our transport and had to return to the hotel. The manager was extremely helpful . We were given a room to change in and use of the pool while our vehicle was being repaired. Short walk to a lake with great birds to see. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would strongly recommend.

The food was very good but perhaps a bit pricey. Our first room was a bit small for travellers with 2 large suitcases but we were upgraded so that sorted the issue out

Lovely place, very kind staff. All was perfectly neat (our room, n°1, was a little small but really confortable).

All staff is very nice, but the service could still be improved : diner service was very slow (2 hours at least). The meal was good, but some plates a bit underwhelming (fried vegetable noodles not that tasty, served in fact with chicken). As an expatriate, I consider also that putting "Pêche melba" on the menu is a mistake. Actually, it wasn't bad, but why propose imported canned peaches when the country provides so many wonderful fruits ? "Mango melba" with local curd cream would be much more scrumptious ! A few hangers for clothes and towels in the bathroom would be appreciated as well...

Although a boutique at times it felt like a homestay at the staff at Aryana are so welcoming and accomadating. They let us join in on their new year celebrations and put on a special breakfast, giving us additional to take on the train. Hey also upgraded our room free of charge. 0The pool was lovely and could use it day and night and dinner was also delicious.

Room could be a bit noisy at times as near the reception.
