We stayed here to visit Wilpattu National Park. The room was great value - very clean. The staff were amazing. We checked in later than expected and they messaged to ask if we’d like dinner and had this prepared for our arrival which was the much needed. We went to the national park at 4am so left bags at reception which were kept safe and they even let us have our free breakfast when we came back at about midday. All in all, a quick but very pleasant stay. Thank you!

The view from the room was incredible also the airco gave us the comfort to sleep well. The breakfast was delicious en more than enough. We ate two times lunch here. Which we can realy recommend. The staff was friendly and helped us book a tour guide to visit anuradhapura. (his nale was Lalit. We could also recommend him). Further we could stall our tuktuk safe... So everything together we can only recommend this place! Don't forget to climb up the rooftop. The 360° view there is even more beatifull.

The bathroom was basic but okay and clean. A tool to remove the water from the bathroomfloor would be an upgrade. But that's litterly the only small point with possibility of improval.

I’ve rarely experienced such a wonderful and welcoming staff as I’ve seen it here. This family-run business (it includes all family members) has made our visit more than special. They’ve spontaneously prepared lunch for us when we arrived. It was stunning! Plus, on the last day, we wanted to visit some place in town, but the tuk-tuk did not arrive. This led to the family father to decide to drive us himself — and upon arrival refused to accept payment for this (we needed to insist a lot for him to finally accept). The rooms are very comfortable: very clean, warm shower, working AC and incredible view over the rice fields. Truly a unique experience here, can only recommend!

Beautiful view across paddy fields. Relaxing, almost breathtaking. Such an amazing green. Fascinating watching the vast expanse of it and the people working on the land. Lovely big room, comfortable bed, excellent food. A real family place. The young son took great pride in serving us. Personal service at meal times. Delicious curries. Very little English spoken so gave one a real sense of being in a family home. Difficult to find initially as at the end of very small roads quite a way out of Anarhadapura. Great choice. Not far in a tuc tuc or on a bike.

We stayed for three days and went to wilpattu as well as visiting Anuradhapura and Mihantale from here. We loved the location in a quiet area a ten minute walk in from the busy main road , and enjoyed watching rice being harvested while sitting on our balcony. This is a real home stay vibe , with delicious curries cooked each evening some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Mosquito net provided and view from roof tower was great. Owner organised a tuc tuc for us at a good rate to get around Anuradhapura and to visit Mihantale at sunset -which was wonderful. Tuc tuc drivers Karam and Janna both added to our great experience. Good views from all rooms but probably best from top floor on the left - think this was 303.

The floor in our bathroom had 3 different levels - we were ok with this just had to remember , but potentially a trip hazard. We did see other rooms that didn’t have this issue.

The young people who work at this beautiful pice of earth were helpful and polite. The real star of this Hotel is the location. The balconies are heading east, overviewing beautiful Rice fields. And of course, if you get up early in the morning the most beautiful sunrise will greet you, reflected on a giant mirror created by the Rice fields. An if that is not enough, try heading up to the viewpoint located at the very top of the building, but you better not be afraid of hights. From that point, you have got one of the most amazing views over rice fields and jungle alike. The food in the evening was great and the breakfast more than enough. We hope we can come again for an extended stay

We were welcomed by very friendly staff who immediately carried our luggage up 2 flights of stairs to our room. The hotel has a rooftop tower lookout that looks over a great 360° view of rice fields and stupas in the distance.

The room, although clean, feels a bit dated. e.g. Cables, where light fixtures used to be, sticking out of the wall. Screw holes of previous bathroom fixtures. The overview listed 'daily housekeeping' but we did not see refill of water, sugar, towels. Great potential but needs to pay attention to 'maintaining' that potential 😊

The room was clean and had well functioning AC and a mosquito net that covered the bed which was also nice. The roof has owe-inspiring views of the rice fields, making justice to its name. The best by far is the warmness of the staff, they are always attentive to your questions and requests, they prepped us an amazing dinner, the breakfast was delicious and a great way to kick off the day with energy. They even helped us and arranged a trip to Wilpattu National Park to do a safari for a very competitive price.
