Everything was wonderful. Comfortable clean bed with mosquito nets. Nice clean bathroom. Wimal and his family put a lot of love into making sure everything is perfect. When we didn’t need dinner the first night he brought us tea and biscuits with bananas. Make sure that you eat there !!! Dinner and breakfast were amazing. The best food we have had in Sri Lanka. Even the fresh juice was the best mix. We would go back anytime.

The whole village looses Electricity regularly but Wimal even went above and beyond here and went and got a battery powered electric light bulb so we could have light in the room.

I had a great stay at Wamil guesthouse! The rooms were simple but clean. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The highlight was the incredible food prepared by the host’s wife—both dinner and breakfast were delicious and made with care. If you’re looking for a cozy stay with great home-cooked meals, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Our holiday is two weeks. We arrived to Rich resort on 30th of June. Decided to stay for one day but decided to stay for two days. Because the rooms are comfortable, because of the endless kindness, and delicious food. Reasonable prices. Transportation facilities were provided to visit sacred places. Thanks Wimal Johan Marzell.

In spend 2 nights in the Guesthouse for the Poya Poson célébration just in front of the House. Feeling like home, Nice and confortable room. The owner and his family very friendly and helpfull. Amazing breakfast home made. Recommand it ! Thanks

Wimal and his family did everything to make us feel welcome. The room is comfortable and it has a nice balcony to relax. The food is delicious (and a lot 😁). Thank you so much for the warm hospitality!

We were received very kindly. Very clean, Very tasty food. Wimal's car took us to show the beautiful places. Wimal took us to see Wilpattu national park. Reasonable prices. Accommodation was arranged for one day and we stayed for three days. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Nothing really

Sweet, family-owned spot on the road to Anuradhapura. The owners are kind and helpful, and they go out of their way to make guests comfortable. The food is delicious and plentiful, and the rooms are clean and bright. We enjoyed sitting on the small balcony watching the monkeys come and go. You can walk to Mount Mihintale, where Buddhism was brought to Sri Lanka, when a king met an Indian monk centuries ago.

The only thing we didn't know when booking is that Anuradhapura is still several kilometers away, though tuk tuk drivers are used to going back and forth. Also, this place is tiny. There are just a few rooms, so it's more like a homestay than a hotel (and definitely not a resort with a restaurant.) This was fine with us, but I wouldn't expect to meet other travelers here.
