The staff were incredible, very decent, the owner is super nice and supportive, even that we didn't meet in person, she was always present when I had a question. She helped me arrange the old city tour which is a must while in Anuradhapura 😍 The house is spotless clean, with a nice garden and just steps from all services and shopping you might need, but without the noise. The room was spacious and WiFi worked so well.. It has kettle, minibar, soap and shampoo and a balcony.. Excellent value for money 👍

Well.. Very little things that won't reduce my score (10/10) just to be perfect :) * The fan in my room made a disturbing noise.. I am not really an AC person, but I eventually used the AC as an alternative.. Still would book it again.

Had a wonderful stay here. The location is perfect, close to some restaurants, the lake , stores. There is not much to do around in the area but it is a nice place to stay after a busy day visiting Anuradhapura. The host was very kind and helpful, he also arranged for a tuktuk to take me around the old city. Definitely ask for the same driver as I had: Ajith. He is very kind, knows about the area and I was very happy to spend a full day with him.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, so there were no breakfast options. But you can buy it in a store close by. And the shower was not really warm.

one of the best places to stay in Sri Lanka. I was very nicely surprised how clean, comfortable and well located this place is considering the cheap price. the owner is very helpful, he helped us organize a tuktuk trip around the sights and also let us check in really late. i liked the garden around the place. it’s very quiet but also close to the city center. the room is very clean, has all necessary things, kettle, toiletries, mosquito vaporizers, fridge etc. it’s a really nice place and I would recommend it to my friend and whenever I’m back here, I’m gonna come back.

I checked into Villa DeLorenta on Friday, 16th of December, 2022. Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted by Mr Bradley who manages the property. I found him to be an excellent host, friendly, kind-hearted and professional. The property, located within walking distance of the Anuradhapura New Town railway station is easily accessible from anywhere. Despite its close proximity to the main road, tranquility reigns there, which makes it a perfect spot to unwind. The room I had booked was squeaky-clean and featured a large comfy bed with clean bed linen and pillows. The tiled floor had been swept clean. The bathroom was in great order with hot water running there. Toiletry and all the other standard facilities were all delightfully adequate. Mr Bradley also went out of his way to lend me an iron immediately upon my request. I also rented a bicycle to ride over to the Kumbichchankulama tank, which is a fabulous tourist attraction with lots of street food and a paved jogging track encircling the tank. Altogether, it was a fantastic stay fully worth my money and amply convenient with easy access to public and private transport and many restaurants and cafes nearby and I'd heartily recommend it to anyone.

There's absolutely nothing to complain about.

The room is clean, the location is good, the internet is fast, the host is very helpful, even helped us with the laundry by request. The price is reasonable

The room is small and hot, has no fresh air (you don't want to leave the balcony open for the night, but otherwise you run out of oxygen by morning). The constant smell of naphthalene in the room annoyed me.

this is very good place to stay with your family. family room suit with 5 member family. good staff. Bradly is the person handling everything here. until we are reaching, he guided me the location, even mid night. he helped us to find the tuk tuk visit around Anuradhapura. very good tuk tuk driver. Pala ayya. thanks for everybody.

Good bed, very confortable. Good location Near to the bus and train stations, but be careful because not all the trains stop in the New Anuradhapura Station, 09:20 train doesn't stop.

We try to rent a bicycle, and told the day before, but when we try to take It, all are broken. The room is too hot, and the AC wasn't enough to fresh It. Can't pay with Credit Card.

Spacious fully equipped room (tv, mosquito spray, lamp, desk, toiletries, water). nearby fruit market and supermarket that sells hot meal and a place to pick up something for breakfast. no barking dogs. general space to eat your meal. staff helped warm up the food and gave the plate and silverware. Suggested and called up a good driver for the old city tour.

property is all good. Staff man looked as any question is a trouble for him and make you feel unwelcome to ask anything. wanted to stay extra day but left earlier due to staff attitude (the guy, but lady was nice. both had 30% understanding of English. i think i wish they used google translate than create frustration).

We booked familly room and double bed room. Villa deLorenta has Nice comfortable, well cleaned rooms and bathrooms❤️ . Ac worked well....host is a kind person.he always concerned our request..you can stay there without any warries... Walking distance to anuradapura New town. Warking distance to anuradapura new town station . Great location.all are good

This property is very close to the main city.Access road is good.we booked the family room.it was very very clean and very spacious.Has air conditioner ,TV,Fridge etc.bathroom is big and has hot water as well.owner is a friendly guy.i really recommend this place to everyone.
