The rooms and their interior design are exceptional. The views offered from within the comfort of the room or from the cosy restaurant or even the majestic swimming pool are truly mesmerising. Overlooking lush jungle and the Indian ocean, it is without a doubt a hard to beat view. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, away from the chaos and noise of the main road, but within 5 min from beautiful beaches and beach clubs. After a long day out, retiring to such a luxurious and tranquil resort made my stay all the better. I highly recommend this pearl!

Hotel it's nice and the rooms amazing whit a large balcony and a wonderful view . The staff is great ready for all requests. Receptionist Thilina always ready to satisfy any your requests. If you stay for many days yll find problems with the restaurant not for the quality food that sincerely was good but for the poor choice of dishes an unless a curry lover. Avoid the tuk tuk driver man stable outside the hotel as you can find a better price just download app pick me taxi 🚕

As we returned to our daily routines, it took us a while to revisit(unfortunately ony in our memories)this wonderful place and share our opinion. Ultimately, we highly recommend it, but more on that in a moment. We found the hotel somewhat by accident, searching among many on Booking.com. We loved the view from the private pool in our room, as well as the view of nature from the hotel pool. In reality, we saw exactly what we saw in the photos on Booking.com. The location was excellent, and for those who are apprehensive about it, I should add that we traveled with our 10-year-old son and had no problems getting to and from the hotel in the middle of the jungle, even in the evenings. We could always count on the helpfulness of the hotel staff. The location is picturesque, the cottages are of a high standard, and the hotel staff keep them impeccably clean. The hotel staff are very helpful, the food is excellent, and the chef cares about the customer and is also able to adapt to any situation (allergies, child). We tried many restaurants, and this one proved to be one of the best in terms of food quality. A place where you can relax surrounded by nature, which is right at your fingertips. A true haven for those seeking peace and complete relaxation (with extras like a swimming pool and massages—these are available upon request) and superb cuisine, surrounded by the sounds of nature. We highly recommend this place and will happily return in the future. We thank the staff for their dedication and smiles.

a great viewing balcony that is missing a pool table to be perfect?

- Exceptional customer service. We felt very welcomed by the staff and looked after. - The food at The Dutch Restaurant is excellent - both a la carte at lunch and the included breakfast were great! - The room was comfortable and clean. Housekeeping was excellent. - The overall atmosphere and views were stunning. - Maxi the resort dog was a highlight for us - she is so cute!

- Overall, no major issues or flaws. - Worth noting that the plunge pool is not heated - this was fine on the hotter days but was underused and too cold on the cooler days we had. The main pool felt warmer, which was a good alternative. - Hot water was temperamental in the shower. - The couch covers in the room and the day bed covers by the pool were a little stained and worn - could do with a deep clean or replacement.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They were the highlight of my stay. The massage therapist Nuwan also was extremely helpful and professional with his treatment. Max the dog was also a great addition to the team.

Tabula Rasa is a beautiful small resort in the middle of the jungle with an amazing view, garden and infinity pool. The staff is absolutely lovely and try to make your stay the best possible, and they were very helpful to solve any problem that arises. The villa we stayed in what great, modern, tastefully decorated, with a terrasse and jungle views, lots of space, and super comfortable bed. You could not imagine a more peaceful setting, and monkeys came to say hello a few times. The breakfast was superb. Our baby loved the place and everyone was super attentive to her. Thank you so much for making our stay special.

This hotel is like an oasis in the jungle- calm, luxurious and beautiful. We were a family of with 2 teenagers and this was our final stop on our tour of Sri Lanka- it was a perfect bit of luxury to chill for our final 2 days. We stayed in the Emerald Suite with plenty of space and an amazing view into the jungle, where we saw monkeys and lizards. The pool area is beautiful, food and staff were amazing.

Everything was perfect- only improvement would be the facility of a gym. If visiting with a family- be mindful that you can't walk anywhere, so 2days was enough for us at the hotel.

The chefs went out of their way to adjust meals for our 3-year-old son, and even gave him a special tour of the kitchen! Special thanks to M. Nuwan, the massage therapist, who provided an incredibly relaxing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and we highly recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast – it quickly became our favorite! The restaurant and lounge also have a fantastic atmosphere, with soft music playing in the background, adding to the overall peaceful vibe. Tabula Rasa offers a perfect blend of seclusion and serenity, with breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding jungle. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat in a paradise setting, this is the place to be. On our last day, we were lucky enough to witness a family of monkeys playing in the tree right in front of our room. It was an unforgettable moment, being able to watch them up close in such a beautiful setting. A big thank you to the entire team at Tabula Rasa for making our stay so smooth and memorable. I loved my stay. It is wonderfully relaxing - an oasis - but in reality you are only a few mins from beachbars, tourist attractions etc. But it is perfectly quiet and relaximg. Amazing infinity pool and some rooms have their own too. I loved it. Delicious food, attentive team, spa for massages, mani, pedi, facials etc. It is the perfect place to unwind and reset. The villas are big and spacious, great bed, huge shower, day bed too, desk and chair, minibar - everything that you need. Incredibly reasonable for everything that you get.
