Fantastic location right on the beach. Safe swimming and snorkeling in the lagoon right in front of the property. Lovely family run guest house, the family are so nice and friendly and very helpful. Perfect spot for surfing between lazy left and rams and a short paddle or walk to lazy right.

Nothing. It’s the best spot to stay in midigama. The rooms are simple and don’t have aircon but do have fans. We initially booked for seven days but ended up coming back a couple of times and the family were so welcoming it felt like coming home each time we returned.

This is a fantastic place right on the beach with a safe lagoon to swim and snorkel in and two great surf spots within a few hundred meters, a gem of a place run by Sugi and his lovely family. There are sunloungers on the beach that are just for guests. Hermit crabs and lovely snorkelling on the rare flat days with turtles and pyjama tangs. Excellent air con in the premium rooms

It’s near a busy road - it’s fairly basic - neither are a problem when you have this location

An oasis right by the sea. Beautifully located with its own beach chairs and a great beach for swimming and surfing. Two main surf spots are just in walking distance. We liked it so much that we extended our stay several times. The family is very nice, takes care of everything and is always there. You get a super delicious breakfast served right on the beach, with juices and banana pancakes. The beds are comfortable and the view from the upper room is beautiful and you can fall asleep to the sound of the sea. We'll come back.

Sweet local family business with friendly and kind staff who took good care of us. The location is perfect if you’re looking to stay on a very chill spot that’s still very accessible to the busy Weligama. Couple of great surf spots (i’m beginner so not for me:)) right in front of the property. Beautiful quiet private beach. Stayed with a friend for a week and will come back for sure!

This is not really about The property but something I discovered myself. As a beginner in surf I ended up taking daily back and forth Tuk Tuk rides to Weligama and felt like would’ve saved some by just staying in Weligama. Then again it was always a pleasure to arrive back home from busy Weligama at the end of the day. I realised the bus option a bit late so If you stay here and need to get to Weligama Take the bus! Or get a bike! Would be a good warm up too!

I absolutely love this place! The location is perfect – right on the beach, making it so convenient and relaxing. The hosts are a wonderful and welcoming family who truly make you feel at home. I felt very safe throughout my stay, and it’s clear they prioritize their guests’ comfort. The food they prepare is incredible – homemade and absolutely delicious! I will definitely come back here!:)

Spectacular location right on the beach between Lazy Left and Rams surf breaks. The family who took care of us were so kind and we learnt so much from them, it was a pleasure to get to know them all. We loved this place so much we extended our stay and booked more nights to end our holiday with, there is no better place to stay in Midigama.

We loved the family, the chilled out vibe and of course the location. The rooms were also tidy and the family helps with everything we needed.

Absolute beachfront with safe swimming for kids directly out front. Walk to 3 surf breaks. The place to be for surf on the doorstep. Watch the surf all day from the hotel sun lounges. Great value for money especially for a family. Quite a few good restaurants walkable.

On main road so a little noisy

Beach frontside, best view and lovely garden.

Some things a bit outdated but they were working on (an amazing) construction / expansion of rooms though. Beach on one side, road on the other so can get a bit noisy.

Fabulous location being on a beautiful beach with a great beach club nearby. For experienced surfers the breaks either side are excellent. Nice swimming areas close by. Lovely well priced breakfasts served and very lovely family running the place.

Fairly basic given the limited facilities, but the price reflects this.

Amazing location very basic accommodation. You are 50 yards from the beach. Best spot in Welligama. Very good food and an extremely kind staff.

A bit basic for the confort I am used too (no AC and no wifi)
