If you are staying in Kalix this is definitely the hotel you should choose for a memorable experience. We thought it was a fabulous place to stay. The hosts are very friendly generous people who make sure you enjoy your stay. Their staff are also happy to help with anything you need. The buffet breakfast offers a delicious selection of cold and hot foods with excellent cheeses and meats, fresh bread (including a warm, tasty gluten free option), cereals, yoghurt, fruit and much more. The bacon and scrambled eggs was hot and beautifully cooked. We ate lunch there as well and it was very good value for very fine food. And good coffee too. The hotel itself is traditional Swedish and with very stylish decor, cosy and comfy. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, the smart TV had many options for English speakers and there were two comfy chairs to relax in. The location is great, a short walk to many types of shops, restaurants, the river and the bus station. Kalix is a very convenient town to get around. Thank you to our hosts and their staff. You made our stay very enjoyable.

This a lovely well appointed hotel on the edge of Kalix yet within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My single room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. They have a small lounge area at reception with free coffee available. Breakfast was very good with a decent choice of food. They have a restaurant but it wasn’t open during my stay. The car park is adjacent to the hotel . Overall an excellent place to stay.

Room was beautiful, breakfast was great.

The room wasn’t the same spacious looking 3person room as the picture and the extra bed was quite hard for an adult, but it was good enough for one night. The dinner restaurant wasn’t open. Too bad because it was great last time! The girl at the counter wasn’t very informative or welcoming and there were nobody at the reception for the last of our stay.

Very friendly and flexible Hotel owner. Everything was very clean, the breakfast was perfect for me. It had everything I needed. As a business traveller, I must say that good size TV with all the streaming service apps was a great thing to get my mind away from business matters before sleeping. Definitely one of the most comfortable and warm feeling hotels I have seen around the world.

Breakfast was very good. The staff at breakfast time were informative and welcoming. The lounge and dining areas were cosy.

Ran out of body wash, shampoo couldn’t find staff to get more so used hand wash. No lift hard with heavy bags. Luckily we weren’t elderly. Single bed sheets on the base of a double bed don’t stay on very well.

Super central location, right at the amazing Kalix River and church of Kalix. Most of all, the amazing owners Målin and Patrick, who are so friendly and make it right for their guests! Would always come back, my favorite hotel around.

This was a lovely hotel. Our room had a view across to the old church and the rover and bridge. Breakfast was excellent with a European buffet and eggs and bacon cooked as requested. We liked that they had an awning to protect the room from the sun.

We were warmly welcomed and our room was upgraded to our suprise. The breakfast was great.

For our liking the beds were a bit too soft, but we slept well anyway.
