Cozy motel which is quite easy to find off the main road to Tornio. Kitchen facilities and sauna available.

Kitchen might be a bit small if there are multiple guests staying but we seemed to be the only ones there so it wasn`t a problem.

Check-in is easy via door codes, and possible to check in anytime. There is a shared kitchen with fridge, microwave and everything.

There was a hobo who came to the kitchen at 2am night time and drank our liquor.

Sauna was superb, a kitchen for every floor and the room was essential but cosy, with a small fridge, very useful. The motel is close to a big road but I didn't hear a noise. Supermarkets are nearby.

The kitchen was definitely the worst place: not cleaned, lack of pots and essentials for cooking, windows were dirty. The check in system could work a bit better, since the owners are supposed to send two codes: one for the entrance door and the other for the room you booked. Well, they didn't send them. I sent an email to remind the codes and in half an hour they replied. The ratio quality price is very high, for this place.

Motel Tornio is in a very old building and that shows: For example the toilet floor was flooding. But the room was good and quiet and the host was extremely friendly. Location was perfect after just crossing the Finnish-Swedish border. Price to quality ratio was good.

I already mentioned: the toilet was out in the corridor and when I came the toilet floor was flooding.

The bed was very comfortable. The shower was also good.

The trouble I had getting into the room. Needed help from a chap.

The building and surroundings could do with some TLC.. Not a picturesque location!
