I must say, the aesthetics, staff, and breakfast were absolutely delightful. The hotel is brimming with ‘vintage’ items, which can be delightful if you appreciate them.

The door connecting my room to another room would creak whenever someone walked by in the other room. The sounds from there were quite bothersome. Unfortunately, my room lacked a bedside table. Any suggestions on where to place my book and glasses? The room was like a Tetris game with furniture and a TV, leaving no room for morning yoga.

The hotel was clean and conformable with spacious rooms and an excellent breakfast. The hotel was ornately built in 1900, during Haparanda's most prosperous period. The hotel features many antiques and museum like features throughout. The wide selection of gluten free options at breakfast. Adding, oat milk at breakfast could cover all possible dietary requirements.

Everything was fine.

Excellent old, historic hotel with fin de siecle charm. Strongly recommend for all who plan to stay at Haparanda. Best in class dinner served in hotel restaurant and friendly service both at the reception desk and the restaurant. Rich breakfast buffet is a fine begining of next day during the trip.

Alle about the fantastic hotels old thing, like furnitures and everything about the architecture of the hotel. It was amazing, because I love old things.

Didn't like that we had to wait for the food for 45 minutes at Saturday evening, in the restaurant. And the same evening none of the waiters didn't csme to ouer table to tell usthat the food was late. Didn't came for asking if we wanted some more drinks. It was not a good experience, and thats too bad.

Breakfast is great. Beds are good and location too. Short travel to everything and ok parking, if there is room for car (motorbikes).

Scattered, long way to go to part of the rooms. Quite hot in the rooms and bit dusty. Old place and feel is same (also part of the charm). Nothing to worry still.

The bathroom is a bit too old and the mattresses were too soft. We also reserved the restaurant for a night, but we had to wait 20 mins to be seated.

We had to ask multiple times to get our rooms cleaned and to have our sheets changed. Even though we stayed there for a week.

The hotel was beautiful! We stayed in the “new” part which wasn’t as beautiful, but they had made it surprisingly cohesive with the old part. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk clerk was extremely polite and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

Some parts were a little outdated, such as the shower. Although it was clean and working, it felt a little bit dingy compared to the upscale feeling of the rest of the hotel.

A very nice and clean hotel with polite staff. The dinner—Arctic char—was excellent as well.

My room was nice. The only problem was that the bed was way too soft, so I had to sleep on the floor.

Was provided with a room directly next to my daughter instead of being separated as we have experienced when booking into other hotels in the past Breakfast was lovely with a great selection. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean
