Special Rooms, spacious, landscape.

If a restaurant is mentioned to be included in the Hotel it must be a restaurant. Not a Bistro offering 3 dishes / very limited food selection given the next restaurant is not near by. While the rooms are great as they are (except the beds) given the shown category this is not a suitable offering for dinner as well as breakfast to be honest.

This building is absolutely stunning, the surroundings are really peaceful and beautiful, and I'm sure it's splendid as a golfing destination. This place has great potential as an amazing hotel as well.

I had booked a two bedroom apartment, but found that "two bedroom" must mean something different in Swedish. Our room ("Fru Antonssons Andrum"), although spacious, was definitely just one room, with another double bed put in the corner.  It looked nothing like any of the advertised pictures on this property, so we felt quite disappointed upon our arrival.  I made a complaint about this, and the staff tried their best to compensate us, offering a free dinner, which we accepted and decided to stay.  The room itself wasn't awful, we had just expected an entirely different experience. The room could really do with better lighting and decorating, as upon entering it, we felt more like we had been sent to the servants' quarters, as opposed to the feeling of grandeur, we had hoped for as by Torreby slott's advertising. We settled in, hoping that a nice breakfast in these stunning surroundings would at least cheer us up. But that was surely not to be, either. Having been informed that breakfast was served between 0800-1000, we arrived at 0915. By this time, there was hardly any food left, and no staff to be found. -By the way, the reason we arrived at 0910 and not 0850 was that we had a very hard time using the shower in our room, as it was very difficult to regulate the water temperature. So all in all we were sorely disappointed. What was supposed the be a royal treat for my teenaged son, turned out to be quite a sad business. The potential is definitely there, and I really hope the owners recognize it and do something about it.

The hostess Jacqueline is very friendly

No hot water in the shower, people working outside with heavy machinery at the golf course at 4:50AM, and no vegetarian food options. Never again I am afraid
