Breakfast was good and had nice unexpected features such as warm wafels one could prepare oneself. Also at least 8 types of krackers, 8 types of high quality confiture,, but also booled egg with shrimp and caviar. Free parking at the property. House looked very english in all its features. Very stylish in furniture, plates and cups, decorations etc. Few places to sit in thd garden as well. We had a room with ensuite toilet and shower, but several rooms had shared toilet and or shower. One was free to take tea or coffee all day and there were cookies and fruits from the garden for free as well. We choose the city as we wanted to explore the north by car. We also went by train to Gotenborg. Very easy, almost one hour teavel, direct train. Hotel is close to train an bus station. Many places to eat in town at walking distance.

Rooms were indeed as small as indicated. Hardly any place to hang cloths etc. Sitting rooms and garden downstairs enlarged the living space though. Within those rooms the chairs and couches took up a lot of space and one needed to move around carefully. The space coild host the number of guests though and everybody was very considerate.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in, and I travel a lot around the world due to my offshore work. Fantastic homely atmosphere, very nice staff and owners who make every effort to make their guests' stay pleasant. The hotel is perfectly located, 3-min walk to the train station, 1-min to the bus, 4-min to the down town, so you don't need a car. The hotel is very clean, decorated in a retro-Scandinavian style, which gives it a truly fairy-tale touch. Very convenient both for a private stay and for an organized stay for business purposes (free Wi-Fi that works without problems throughout the hotel, a leaving room where you can relax with chess or/ and work remotely on a laptop ). Delicious breakfasts in a beautiful, atmospheric and clean breakfast room. Thank you to the owners and staff for a fantastic stay. I will definitely visit again. I highly recommend it to everyone. Especially now, it's a great place for a Christmas getaway.

I'm sorry I can't help on this point, because I don't see anything that could be improved. I enjoyed everything.

Very easy to find. The building seemed to have plenty of interesting furniture and other artefacts. There were several beautifully furnished rooms in which to relax, as well as the dining area. The breakfast was superbly prepared and laid out, with an almost infinite choice.

My single room was adequate but very small. There was no plug for the washbasin.

Fine place close to Uddevalla center and the Bohusläns museum that is one of the attractions in the town. It is a cosy hotel although it is old and not at the high end regarding room standard.

There is much traffic on the road outside.

Very nice and traditional hotel, the beautifull pictures of the interior speak for itself. Very polite and helpfull staff.

We used the additional bed in the maisonette living room. Unfortunately the living room didn't had proper curtains.

Great home feeling. Friendly staff and great to just take a coffee and relax after day of driving. No problem to find or park.

It was as advertised with toilet and bathroom shared, so bear that in mind. But as long as you are fine with that a great stay.

Excellent location only 5-10 min walk from city centre. Good parking facilities. Excellent service. Cozy rooms. Like the water-with-glass in each room - indicate care.

Bed a little too hard for my taste but this is highly likely an individual assessment. Easy to hear noises in hallway, but no major issue

We returned this summer for a second stay and I can only repeat my recommendations from the last year: - well kept and (in the best of taste) furnished room - very friendly hosts - familiar atmosphere; we've felt very welcome again - ample choice of fresh and delicious food for breakfast - free coffee/tea the whole day - lovely garden (where we've had breakfast) - quiet, but in walking distance to the station, shops and restaurants - free wifi (to whom it may concern) We are looking forward to return next year!
