It’s a very nice property, I did not read before but I suspended to learn it’s a former church turned into a hotel. The place is very quiet and peaceful. It’s in a nice area of the town. I especially loved the walk through the little forest to get to the city center. I liked the idea of socialising with other guests that were in the house.

I booked a deluxe double room and I thought (since it wasn’t mentioned in the title it had a shared bathroom like the rest of the options) it had a private bathroom. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, none of the rooms have private bathrooms. However, that wasn’t an issue because there are several bathrooms and I always had the bathroom available when I needed it.

A very nice guesthouse with very friendly and service minded staff. The location is quiet and just a short 10min walk you are down at the city center. It takes 20-30min to walk to the central train and bus station. The room I had was spacious with enough space for your clothes, a big table and a very comfortable and firm bed. There are shared seating areas in and outside and a shared kitchen as well with everything you need. Cleanliness was spot on. I was very happy to stay at Spirans and will definitely come back.

Lovely cosy hostel, felt like home from home. Great kitchen facilities and loved being able to borrow a bicycle to cycle to town. Nice living areas and outdoor seating too. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and my room was very comfortable. Enjoyed meeting the other guests too.

It was a nice place to stay, it was 7mins walk from the 22 bus to the centre and the 22 bus could be joined at rhe railway station for the return journey. The kitchen was well equipped and was ideal place to meet and talk with other people. Would definitely stay there again the next time I travel to Trollhättan.

It was clean and spacious. 2 equipped kitchens to use + places to watch tv and hang out. Nice and calm area, not far from city or popular walking paths in nature. Owner was very nice and helpful. Bicycles, washing/dryer machines free to use, you can adjust temperature in your room. The place itself is interesting to stay at. Would stay there again when i come to Trolhättan. Thank you.

The desk in my room was painted white and the surface felt slightly sticky (even though it was clean)

Value for money is okay. It was clean. They have some bikes what you can use. Situated in nice suburb part of the city.

My small room had a little window for the corridor only, not for outside. No ventilation in the room. For a one night stay by my own it was okay, but for longer periods, I don't want such room. (I think most of the rooms in the house have windows looking the garden or the street.)

Unique way to utilize an old church. Lovely accomodations, spacious, friendly and clean. Everything available for cooking your own meals. Hostess was friendly, and helpful.

Loved the way the owner has changed this small church into a cute, self serving accommodation. Everything you need is cared for, you share the bathroom and kitchen/fridge, but that's more than okay. Perfect in combination with a visit to the Saab Museum.

All the lights were kept on at night, which made the room a little too bright.
