I was due to arrive past the check in time and my request of later arrival was greeted with friendly offer by the receptionist to wait for my arrival. The room was cosy and comfortable. Entrance was easy with a keycard. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The receptionist was friendly and sociable. There was a water cooker in the room which was nice. Örebro castle is just 100 meters away!

The shower space had little black mold dots on the wall linings. Could be easily improved with little renovation, though was just a small aesthetic problem.

The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel they even bake their own bread and it was really tasty! I was really surprised after reading some of the reviews about this hotel. I was expecting to have a really bad experience with this hotel and that it would be very unclean and bad service after reading all the comments about it. But once me and my girlfriend got there we were let in one hour earlier for check in, met by a really nice and friendly guy working there! All the negative comments about Hotel Göta using old trashed towels, having broken furnitures, beds falling apart, rude personal and breakfast being bad, it's all just lies from disrespectful and greedy people who wanted to stay there for free wanting their money back. All it takes for these negative comments to get 5/5 votes on this site is 5 greedy people that wants their money back for no good reason at all. I met four other people staying there and they all looked really happy and seemed to enjoy the place just as much as me and my girlfriend did.

The only thing I did not like was the bad comments people had made about this hotel. The owner is a really sweet and helpful 70 year old woman who has a big and warm heart. This hotel deserve way better scores and reviews.

The location was perfect. The staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. The room had everything you could need. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. Easy to have access in and out.

Only negative but can’t be helped would be the noise into the early hours from local bars etc.

The location is perfect, across from the castle, 5 minutes from the station and close to shops and restaurants. The manager has intense eyes, but he’s very nice and helpful and the breakfast was good. I had the room with the little balcony and I loved it! I really enjoyed my stay!

Just a heads up that on Friday- Sunday it can be noisy outside.

Excellent breakfast and excellent service. An "at home feel", hard to find in today's stressed world. So accommodating and helpful. Took the time to show where the garage is, and what restaurants serve good food. Promised to send a copy of the invoice, and it came promptly as promised! Such a central location! Will come back!

From A to Z lika a home ! Friendly, lovely from a personal point of view ! Nice old building, good location , home feeling as well as freash and clean. Half the price, very nice and the breakfast included ! Why stay somewhere else !!

Very central location! We booked the twin superior room for one night (Saturday). It was very spacious plus the beds were comfortable. The hotel building itself has nice historic charm.

The room has no air conditioning so it was very warm inside in the summer heat. We slept with the windows open which face the main road so it was quite nosiy with late night partiers going by.

Great location near the Train Station and nice area to walk around. Hotel is really nice, friendly staff, clean room and area, great breakfast.

The only thing is it was expensive for what it is. I have nothing to complain about the hotel itself or the staff but to someone that are traveling alone the price is high if I compare to other hotels I stayed alone too with the same or better facilities.
