Everything went well. The location as well as the cabins and the location are cosy. If you like spending your time immersed in peace and nature, this is the right place for you. The facilities were really good as we had magnificent and flawless dinners with the kids and our friends all together. Staff was super kind and friendly

I liked everything about the place, the owners of Stuga were wonderful people, the nature, the silence was beautiful, I enjoyed myself and the children, I will visit that place again, rest for the soul. thank you

Great stuga, great location. Bouncy castle for the kids, indoor pool with a sauna! The owner was helpful in fixing problems we had. Overall the kids were very happy with the place. I think by next year they should have fixed up all the small details and it should be even better.

They seem to be modernising the place, so the TV and WiFi is currently not working, which due to it being a rainy day would have helped keep the kids amused. They will however have it all updated by autumn. The checking in and leaving system was a bit disorganized ( It seems that the place has new owners so I guess that they are learning what to do )

Great, calm location in the forest

Nice area, close to the lake and the city center.

There is no recycling possibility.

The location is quiet and cozy, with chickens and ducks, goats and a bunny to pet. The cabins were both recently (one completely and one partly) renovated. The lake is really close by and I would highly recommend setting out for a walk along the trails! all in all we had a wonderful stay.

Although we had a hard time reaching the owners/staff, they were super friendly and accommodating when we spoke!

One night, several cars and people made a lot of noise during several hours in the middle of the night. That kept us awake

The cottage was clean, comfort. My kids liked to play with the goats.

The pool area wasn't so clean, the water was so cold my kids were not able to swim

Our stay was not so good as we had hoped. The facilities of the cabin that we stayed in were “okay” but very outdated. We understand that there are new owners and that they’re doing their best to improve and renovate to domain and the cabins, but I’m not convinced that the entire domain should be open for public if not “ready”. Because of the renovations works, the entire domain feels like (and is) a “work in progress” zone, which can be potential dangerous for small kids. Furthermore, we tried to reach the staff several times on separate days to ask some things and inform them about somethings related to our cabin, but we couldn’t find them and after a while we gave up. The surroundings are very nice and there's a walking trail that's crossing the domain. The animals (goats, bunnies, ducks) are very nice for the children as well. So, good potential there, but not ready yet.

I received a nice breakfast even if it was not included as a standard

I paid over 1400 SEK for a night. A day before I paid a little over 1000 SEK in hotel with all bed linen, towels & breakfast included. Here everything has additional price. I found it expensive but it was closest available location to Almhult.
