The location is perfect, central and close to the train station as well. The room was quite large and comfortable. The bathroom was nice too, unusually large. The provided soap, lotion, shower gel were of good quality. There were many options for lighting the room which made it cozy. The staff members were also very nice and helpful.

To my taste the matress was too soft. Breakfast was not bad, everything was of good quality, but a bit too ordinary. I did not like the scrambled eggs and the coffee was not good either. But these were really minor things.

Great location in a nice town. Restaurants are near, as well as two nice lakes with walking and cycling paths. Room was clean, of decent size, with big windows. It is possible to block most of the summer daylight with dark curtains. Very comfortable bed pillows. Breakfast was excellent, with really good and various choices. Excellent value for money. You can park a car in the street near the hotel and pay it with Easypark app. Parking is free from 6pm to 9am.

We had a superior double room in the annex building. Great location, super friendly staff, clean room, huge shower space, comfortable bed, two pillows with different softness and very quiet. Breakfast was very nice including pancakes and ginger shots which was great after a late cocktail night :) Amazing experience all the way from from booking and checkin to checkout. This was so much value for the money! I would definitely come back!

I believe that in all my years of traveling, I can say this hotel has one of the best beds I have ever slept on. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

Nothing really stood out. I only had to buy a set of table tennis balls to actually play;-) for which the hotel compensated me with 2 drinks. How cool is that?

Breakfast, room, staff friendliness and helpfulness

We arrived in a car and would have been happy to pay to stay in a hotel car-park. But there isn't one. We had to find parking for ourselves on the street which is paid for in a way which was far from obvious to us coming from the UK. Even the whereabouts of the meter wasn't clear and someone had to come out from reception to explain how to use it. And there is a three hour limit so we had to come back to move the car in the middle of sightseeing. Your own car park would be best, but failing that a detailed, written step-by-step explanation of the various parking options would have been very helpful.

Literally can't fault this place. We had a lovely room in the main building overlooking the fountain. Breakfast was huge, hot and continental inc Swedish meatballs. Area was quiet and round the corner from the centre. If you want to cycle to the lake or castle the pathways are super easy. Highly recommend https://www.smalandscykel.se/

The location is very good and the breakfast is also very good. Coffee always on hand and available all the time in the reception. I think the hotel is good value for money.

Arrangements of the furniture in the room felt messy and unorganised, lots of wasted space. TV is very basic, not much variety at all, very few basic channels.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great and exceptionally well decorated rooms, for the price. Very good breakfast. Good location. Very high value for the money.

Most comfortable bed I've slept in. Free bike rental was nice for ride around the lake. Exceptional breakfast
