The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Växjö cathedral and all the main shops and restaurants. The hotel is light and modern with the room having a very comfortable bed, a choice of pillows, coffee machine etc. The range of food at breakfast is superb and all so incredibly fresh too. You can also hire bikes for free to explore the city and surrounding area. They are heavy and basic so not for wider exploration but still wonderful to have access. If you like to parkrun this hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the start of Växjösjön parkrun, a wonderful flat run around a lake.

Nothing, this is a gem of a hotel!

The location is perfect, central and close to the train station as well. The room was quite large and comfortable. The bathroom was nice too, unusually large. The provided soap, lotion, shower gel were of good quality. There were many options for lighting the room which made it cozy. The staff members were also very nice and helpful.

To my taste the matress was too soft. Breakfast was not bad, everything was of good quality, but a bit too ordinary. I did not like the scrambled eggs and the coffee was not good either. But these were really minor things.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The room was generously proportioned and the bathroom was good. Very good breakfast buffet available and staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is ideally situated in the city centre and Vaxjo is a lovely place to visit. We would definitely stay at the hotel again.

There was nothing to dislike!

Great location in a nice town. Restaurants are near, as well as two nice lakes with walking and cycling paths. Room was clean, of decent size, with big windows. It is possible to block most of the summer daylight with dark curtains. Very comfortable bed pillows. Breakfast was excellent, with really good and various choices. Excellent value for money. You can park a car in the street near the hotel and pay it with Easypark app. Parking is free from 6pm to 9am.

We had a superior double room in the annex building. Great location, super friendly staff, clean room, huge shower space, comfortable bed, two pillows with different softness and very quiet. Breakfast was very nice including pancakes and ginger shots which was great after a late cocktail night :) Amazing experience all the way from from booking and checkin to checkout. This was so much value for the money! I would definitely come back!

I actually don't have anything at all to complain about, which is quite unusual :)

I believe that in all my years of traveling, I can say this hotel has one of the best beds I have ever slept on. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

Nothing really stood out. I only had to buy a set of table tennis balls to actually play;-) for which the hotel compensated me with 2 drinks. How cool is that?

Service was exceptional, from warm and welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable room. Fab breakfast. We enjoyed the games room and sauna. Convenient and quiet location.

It’s a shame the hot tub is no longer in service.

All staff including reception and restaurant were very friendly and supportive. Room was clean and cosy. Bathroom amenities were good.

We arrived in a car and would have been happy to pay to stay in a hotel car-park. But there isn't one. We had to find parking for ourselves on the street which is paid for in a way which was far from obvious to us coming from the UK. Even the whereabouts of the meter wasn't clear and someone had to come out from reception to explain how to use it. And there is a three hour limit so we had to come back to move the car in the middle of sightseeing. Your own car park would be best, but failing that a detailed, written step-by-step explanation of the various parking options would have been very helpful.
