- Wonderful location - close to centre/shops, train station, Cathedral and a short walk to Växjösjön (a pretty lake with a path all the way around it, and the location for the local parkrun at 9.30am each Saturday) - Great, welcoming team throughout the hotel - Clean (in rooms may and throughout the hotel) - Comfortable bed - Everything in room worked and was functional. - Room furnishings were of good quality and in keeping with the grand historic exterior of the building (don’t expect cutting edge avant garde design details. It’s not that kind of place). - onsite Japanese restaurant and each evening a pub (the pub can be reached by an access controlled door within the hotel as well as from outside) - Good breakfast options, nice quality food

we stayed in room 345 which was a family room. It was really big and so was the bathroom which had a Sauna integrated. The beds were good. The room had only one window but now view. In the 1st night there was heavy rainfall and it was very loud in the room. Breakfast was good and there was a wide selection of food. What I really liked were the Ingwer shots and the good quality of Tea. The staff was friendly and check in and out fast and not complicated.

Public parking is available close by. Free from 18:00 - 19:00 - this is very good and convenient. Make sure that you enter the number plate correctly into the easypark app. We added the S for Sweden to the entry. This resulted in a fine :-) and the guy we talked to was pretty arrogant and did not apply common sende. But this is NOT THE ISSUE of the hotel

It is a really beautiful hotel, even if the room was small there was a good storage space for our stuff. Good breakfast, many choices and the breakfast area was wonderful! The hotel is about two minutes walk to restaurants, cafes, pubs, and groceries. Very close to the museums. The staff was friendly and helpful!

While the room was generally clean, the bathroom wasn't up to par. The sink was a bit clogged, and there were marks on the tiles

The breakfast was diverse and tasty. The location is great. Only 1-2 min walk from the bus or train station. The staff is kind and approachable. The room for one person is small (you get a feeling like you're in a private room in a hostel) but there is enough room for the baggage if you're staying for a few days and it is very cozy. Wifi is great and you get shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner on the premises, as well as a hair dryer. The bed is super comfy and soft.

The hotel is located right in the center of town, only a 5 minute walk to the train station. There is outdoor public parking adjacent to the hotel. I believe it is free from 6 pm to 9 am. Pedestrian streets are next to the hotel for shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent in quality and variety. Our room had very good lighting for reading and Wi-fi was very good.

Genuinely lovely, happy staff. Small room but very comfortable bed (had a huge room last time we came which is better with a dog). The breakfast was very good and clearly popular - broad selection of hot and cold items, plenty of cereal choices which I really appreciated, and delicious breads. Parking is in a fee-paying area right next to the hotel but it's free in the evenings and all day Sunday.

Breakfast was very busy but that is expected and food items were kept up well by smiling staff. Finding a table was a bit of a challenge, and tables maybe could have been cleared a bit quicker to make space, but I think this was at the very busiest time (9.30 Sun).

Classic Hotel with very convenient location close to Train Station. Rooms were very comfortable. Excellent Breakfast Room with plenty of selections. Attentive staff. Held our luggage for a few hours as we visited the local Museums which was appreciated.

Very central to the station and city centre. Everything at your fingertips. Quite quirky - some of the decor reminded me of a palace. Very nice interior.

We stayed on the first floor - on the mezzanine section. So while there was a lift to the 1st floor we had to take the stairs to the section our room was on. Not ideal if you have large suitcases.

Location , staff,breakfast, parking near hotel and free from 6 pm until 9 AM.

Family room no A/C but only fan , week end noisy to much until 1AM and during a week noisy until 11PM , Bar under our room.

It was a very short walk from the railway station making it easily accessible. Rooms were spotless and nicely decorated. A kettle with tea/coffee was provided and the inclusive breakfast was a wide selection. It was also only about an 8 minute walk from the beautiful lake which you can swim in.

The rubber seal on the bottom of the shower door had a gap with allowed the shower water to creep out of the shower area onto the bathroom floor soaking the bath mat.
