Breakfast has lots of interesting options (even though I don't understand why fruit pieces are individually put into small glasses, which makes it cumbersome to even eat a full kiwi), including some freshly prepared add-ons from the kitchen. Rooms are very stylish - a beautiful blend of old and new Alpine styles. It's our favorite ambiance. Spacious bike parking, ample car parking, flexibility and help in finding spots. Breakfast was offered earlier in connection with the Engadin Radmarathon.

The tone of the host feels a bit rude at times and could be a little less ironic. During peak season, I find the prices too high compared to the offer - and it's the reason I wouldn't come back despite all qualities unless I had to sleep in Zernez again for proximity to an event.

The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was very good. As someone who loves to get out and about in nature early I do wish the breakfast was available earlier than 7:30, but I suppose the later start is amenable to many or most. The location is excellent, close enough to the center of the village and also the train/bus station to make it usable for exploring the area.

The only negative thing was the lack of a usable outlet for overnight charging of electronic devices. The main room, exclusive of the bathroom, had only a single 3 outlet block that was switched by the main switch for the room, which also controlled a number of lights that could not be switched off separately, so not really usable for overnight re-charging of phones, computers, cameras, etc.

The hotel is very authentic and has a lot of charme. The rooms are very cozy, clean and have all the amenities you might need. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and some à la carte options such as waffles, eggs etc. as well (included in price). There is also free coffe & tea for all hotel guests every afternoon, however we did not try it. However, we tried the restaurant for dinner and the food was exceptional! The dishes are all local specialities and the menu is full of options. We will for sure consider the hotel & restaurant for our next trip to Zernez!

Lovely room, had a very traditional rustic lodge feel to it. Very modern bathroom with good shower. Staff were super friendly. We took advantage of the afternoon snack that was laid on. The views of the snow capped mountains and nearby hillside pasture are stunning. We took a short walk and found a woodland park area which was very peaceful. We had drinks in the bar after our walk and had dinner in the restaurant in the evening (beware the menu is only written in German but we managed with translator app). Lovely breakfast. Very friendly people. We thought their use of small jars a good idea, saves wasting food.

The room was clean and the common areas were very pleasant. The room was large and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and available. Breakfast was very pleasant and tasty with fresh, regional products. We were allowed to store and charge our motorbikes in the garage, as the charging station was out of order.

I thought the garage fee was a bit steep (20chf per motorbike), even with the charging (around 7Kw each), but we asked to use the garage and didn't ask the price, so regardless, it's our responsibility too.

A very comfortable room, very friendly and attentive staff. Good breakfast. Dinner was very good but somewhat costly. We would have appreciated the option of having house/open wine at a more reasonable price.

There was no sitting room for guests and the bar was literally a few stools at a bar in a room where guests were dining.

It's an amazing hotel (definitely more comfy than 3 stars would suggest) in a great region. Room was spacious and spotless, with really comfy beds. We couldn't hear our neighbors, and we hope they didn't hear our kid reenacting all songs from Mary Poppins. Breakfast is made to order and it's super delicious. Everything served was fresh and tasty. They had a choice for everyone in the family, including the grumpy toddler.

There's really nothing that we didn't like.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the interior is nicely renovated and cosy. The breakfast was also on another level : lots on self service quality local produce with extra (free of charge) on demand food such as omelettes, waffles, selections of local meat and salmon, etc. Bonus point for having actual lactose free milk on top of other vegetal alternatives!

Next to a busy street Our rooms were facing the away from the street but onto the parking lot (also the mountains). It wasn’t too noisy in the night but during the day there was plenty of cars and deliveries

Excellent location in lovely zernez! Rooms very beautifully done , and cosy and spotlessly clean . Bathrooms spacious and modern. The included breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in a hotel in our travels in Switzerland !

The reception was closed when we arrived just half an hour before 3 pm . However a call to the number given in booking resulted in the receptionist making herself available fast
