I had a very pleasant stay at Hôtel de France. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. My room was very clean and comfortable, and I really appreciated the high standard of cleanliness. The breakfast was good and satisfying. The location is excellent — close to everything in the city, which made it very convenient for getting around. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again!

Comfort, really nice bedding. On the room I took, having a little kitchen with fridge was really awesome. Room is really clean and staff nice. A restaurant available, a market nearby with also the rail station. You have everything around. Yeah, not a 5 stars hotel, but for the location, comfort and equipments, it was really nice for the price. I recommend. Great place if you here to visit the city

One of the only negative point is the door of the room with the corridor. Not soundproof and you can hear almost everything in the corridor. But the number of rooms by floor still not big and kind of rare someone is spending too much time in the corridor. You can deal with it. Depending on what your looking for, if you came by feet, it's fine but if you have a car and need to park it, could be complicated. No parking dedicated. But if money not an issue, you have 100m away the parking of the big market Migros.

Central but quiet location extremely close to the station. Comfortable bed. Nice little kitchenette. Staff very helpful and lent me an adapter to charge my phone.

I couldn’t figure out how to access the tv channels. There seemed to be multiple providers for different channels and although there was a laminate detailing what they were, there was no instruction on how to access them. This could of course just be me being dense.

This hotel has been recently renovated and is bright, modern and clean. Our studio kitchenette room was a lesson in fitting everything in without ending up too tight. The kitchenette is minimally equipped but enough to heat something up.

The breakfast, as already mentioned in other reviews, is priced way too high for what it is. There are cereals available but no milk to put on them. And no muesli??? The fruit was good though, nice and fresh. No meat or eggs for those who eat them.

The building is traditional. But the stuff are very friendly and have high hospitality. As the front face of La Chaux de Fonds, it made me the fun of this town.

Room was quite large, and despite being close to the station I enjoyed a quiet night. Hotel manager was very helpful

I think the drainage system of the building should be improving, there is some moment some uncomfortable smell coming from nowhere

Great to discover this hotel. Top clean, new room, friendly reception, good wifi, reasonable price. Wonderful falafel corner next door. Special thanks for free bus tickets for the days of my stay and entrance tickets to all nearby sightseeing spots.

None that I can think of.

The room itself is great. It's spacious, well located and with a small kitchen. It's possible to safely store your bike for the night inside the building. The hotel is right next to a vegan and gluten-free friendly restaurant.

There is a gap at the bottom of the door. The hallway and the bar outside were a bit noisy.
