The breakfast was amazing. They had all local food with this jam that was an explosion of flavor. The yogurt from a local fromagerie was really good. The staff was friendly and flexible, very uncomplicated. It’s a great location for hiking and mountain sports both in summer or winter. We will try to repeat one day!

As an old building, the floor was cracking and made quite some noise and the walls were very thin. It’s also a beauty to stay in an old building, depends on how we look at it. Otherwise, we liked it all!

Oh what a place for a countryside getaway. Hotel Von Bergen is an extremely charming place with so many details that show the history of the hotel. Starting from the hallway all the way to the hotel rooms, it is very carefully decorated with authentic details. Even though you have a feeling that you're in a museum and that you're part of an old cottage, the amenities (e.g. bathroom, shower, etc.) are all upgraded and modern. The rooms are quiet, as the hotel is located in country side. The hotel staff can give a masterclass in hospitality. They are super attentive and helpful. The restaurant, which is part of the hotel offered one of the best meals we've had. Even though we didn't have a reservation (the restaurant was fully booked), they managed to accomodate us and improvise a perfect table under the tree. The chef presented us with the menu du jour and described the dishes in detail. The local wine was perfect, the food was excellent, and the desert even better. We enjoyed our stay so much, we wished we stayed longer. We will definitely be back when in that area again.

The hotel, an old house is unique - and lovingly cared/tended for. Every room is different. The luxury of the house is its ambiance. It is embedded in a wonderful and peaceful valley, ideal for walks and bike tours. The food served is of very good quality. The service attentive and friendly.

If you plan to stay for more than a weekend the menu is a bit poor. But perhaps one could arrange with the kitchen that there is a bit of a variety during the following days.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. WIFi was excellent. Hotel was easy to access and close to where we planned to visit. Breakfast was very good with fresh bread, coffee, etc.

We liked everything

The stay was wonderful! Very delicious food, comfortable beds/rooms, suuuuuperfriendly staff and a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

The floors are made out of wood and a bit squeeky. (but not a big deal and it adds to the charm ;) )

It had such character, staff were welcoming even though we were late arriving (we messaged and we had a quick reply and it was not a problem). Slept very well. Breakfast was delicious. Bakery across the road to get lunch for the road. Highly recommend

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the restaurant very cosy and the breakfast excellent with homemade local products. The village is set in a very pretty open valley with lovely walks nearby.

Home-made müsli, local produced yoghurt and cheese, super friendly and helpful staff, one could not ask for more.

The bed squeaks when turning in bed.

Lovely, clean, easy parking, amazing food, cool stuff, value for money, cross-country skiing path nearby. If you like old Jura style buildings - a must ;)
