The location is excellent - very quiet on the edge of the forest with a large stream right under your balcony, putting you to sleep. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. The regular rooms were a bit small for a longer stay, but if you need more space, you can book a larger room. Food was creative and delicious. Breakfast buffet with a large selection was divided into different sections to avoid waiting. Our table was in the Pavilion restaurant, which is just above the stream - you sit right outside in nature without the bother of insects. There are planed activities at the hotel - guided hikes, yoga, bike tours - if you don‘t want to explore the mountain on you own. The hotel has its own hiking guides. We didn‘t have time to try the pool and spa, but the garden is very nice. There‘s a barefoot path to walk to the stream with a separated section secured with a rope for a Kneip bath.

No place to put you suitcase and unpack - as the room is small, it wasn‘t easy to take your things out and put them back in again. Also, the portions at dinner were relatively small for a mountain restaurant. They do that to avoid throwing away leftovers and you can ask for more, but we found out about that at the end for the dessert. And after a day on the mountain we were famished. It is a bother that guests smoke on their balconies, because you can‘t enjoy sitting outside or leaving you window open - but that‘s so elsewhere in Switzerland as well.

easy access, good facilities, good breakfast, sufficient parking facilities, we enjoyed the regional travel card so we could go up and visit the corvatsch mountain.

Great location, pool and kids play area.

Kids were giggling and enjoying pool (not quiet but also not very loud) and within 5 minutes elder guests were complaining to the staff which really put a downer on the pool which was the real highlight for the kids. Maybe good to have designated quiet and regular times. Also computer system was down for 40+ mins when we tried to check out.

Excellent large family room with a beautiful view. Excellent facilities. Beautiful indoor and outdoor swimming pool and lots of games to keep the children entertained in the evenings.

Great location. Excellent spa zone. Good breakfast. You can buy dinners as well (HB). Friendly stuff.

Bed on the second floor is very close to steep stair, not recommending to put children there. A bit old building. No slippers in the room. No English menu in the restaurant (Google helps). Parking from 11chf per day.

I have chosen this hotel because of the location due to the fact it was a work trip for me but finally it was really great. After whole day on my feet I managed to still enjoy the pool in the Thermal Bath section of the hotel, which was extremely relaxing! It is a bit dated in the style but it was pretty clean and convenient. Also I really like the design of the room, a lot of wooden elements, even the room for single person was quite cozy and had everything one could need, the window with natural light.

Be careful as the hotel closes for the night and if you go out without your card key there is a risk you don’t get back into your room until the morning. Also, it was not super clear where I should leave the card which I had for the parking when you leave the hotel, didn’t find the box.

Lovely staff, beautiful dinner and breakfast, clean very quiet rooms. Smart set up with kids play area and adjacent a stylish lounge bar for adults.
