Very friendly environment. Very private and quiet for a dormitory.

For my age and having moderate physical problems, it was a bit hard to get in and out of the capsule.

Super convenient for an early morning flight out of Taipei. The hotel was in T2 and easy to find. It was clean and comfy and the staff were helpful.

This Cho Stay Capsule hotel is located right inside T2 of Taoyuan airport. Very convenient. For people arriving at T1, can take the free airport shuttle train to T2. Do study the instruction on "how to walk to the hotel from the terminal" would help a lot cos it is a bit complicated. The hotel is clean. I am most impressed by their public shower+bathroom. It is modern, extremely clean and well equipped. The capsule size is decent, clean, well designed and equipped. The bed is very comfortable. Service was excellent. I made a few requests at the front desk and they were all handled very professionally. No food available at the capsule hotel but there is a 7/11 type Family Mart convenience store right across the hotel. No worries if you get hungry. Overall I enjoyed this stay and highly recommend CHO Stay Capsule to anyone who might have long transit at Taoyuan airport.

Each room has around 10 capsules, double decker style. For people who are sleeping in the lower level capsule can be woken up easily by people arriving late as they enter the room, open their luggage, go to bathroom, coming back into the room, climb up to the upper deck.... etc etc. The hotel does provide ear plugs but the noises from the activities are just too loud inside the room.... Unfortunately some travelers can be inconsiderate.

It was a convenient place to stay for an overnight lay over saving me the hassle of traveling back to the airport for the next day flight. There were also food court and convenience store so I didn't have to go far for food and drinks. The shared bathroom is separate for males/females, secured and clean. There are 10 capsules in the room but there is plenty of space to sleep comfortably, and some nice touches like a locked box for valuables, 2 hangers, 2 power outlets, a table mirror and even some space for my carry on bag on the side of the mattress. I also love that they offer high quality tea that you can enjoy at your requested time. I will definitely stay here again if I have another long lay over in Taoyuan.

If you are noise sensitive it may not be a place for you to rest because there will be roommates who are not considerate enough to unpack and pack their stuff outside the room. Otherwise the place offers free ear plugs and sleep mask to help you sleep.

The property met expectations given the nature of the facilities (shared bathroom and the dormitory set up, kind of like a deuxieme class couchette arrangement only better) so the key is to think ahead about how one organizes one's luggage and envisioning how one will change into and out of street clothes and sleeping closes and arranging for keeping one's valuables with one when going to the bathroom facilities. One other thing to prepare for us that given the appropriate admonish about noise one needs to think how one will be sure not to oversleep given one probably should not use audible alarms on one's phones etc. For me I belatedly realized I could have mitigated this issue my setting an alarm on my apple watch but I had neglected to think this through and the watch was not available to be worn because I had to charge it after a transpacific flight...

Challenge re no alarm clocks and challenges re changing into and out of bed time clothing described above but this should not have been a surprise so can't really complain.

The location is right at the Taipei Taoyuan International Airport, which makes it an excellent choice if you have a short layover. I had a 20-hour layover between my flights and I didn’t even have to go out of the airport. I loved the attention to detail, the staff, the cleanliness, super comfy beds and crispy clean bed linens, all the necessities are taken care of. Quiet atmosphere is reinforced as they ask you to unpack your suitcase outside the room as a courtesy to other travelers. They give you slippers to use inside the hotel to ensure it’s clean. The showers are also very clean. A welcome sachet of green tea was a nice gesture. Rooms are divided into male and female and the WiFi was really good speed. Honestly, the best value for money I have seen in a while. I felt very comfortable at Cho Capsule Hotel. The food court is also available at the airport on the other floor, so lunch dinner is not an issue. Perfect for a short stay and highly-highly recommend!

Everything was outstanding!

Clearly this is a place to stop over - not a five star hotel or a yoga retreat. If that’s what you want, book that - and pay for that. For a place to stop over, it’s ideal - ideal location, simple sleeping places, lots of food options, and friendly service. I read reviews that the men’s dorms are more noisy with snoring etc, but I was in a women’s dorm and it was quiet and easy to sleep through other guests arriving or departing. I accidentally left behind an eye mask - nothing special but sentimental value to me. This hotel contacted me and let me know they had my item - and then arranged postage to return to me - requesting I paid postage but not their time or effort.

This was the first time I've ever stayed overnight in an airport (in a hotel room) so the novelty of the experience was a big factor for me here. The location is very convenient as it's close to the departure hall for Terminal 1 and also close to the Sky Train to get to Terminal 2. There's also a Family Mart nearby for some supplies if you need them late night and the hotel location is also close to an airport observation deck which was kind of fun. The facility itself is exactly as it says on the tin - a capsule bed in a dorm room which a bunch of other travellers. For one night, it does the job and I can't see any reason why you'd be here for more than one night to be fair. I should point out the hotel was very clean considering the foot traffic through it and they have the procedure for checking in and out as well as the processes for staying there down to a fine art. For convenience alone, you can't get any better than here!

Given that everyone is either coming or going, it does get noisy during the night with people either arriving in the dorm late or leaving it early - even though the staff are at pains to tell everyone to pack their gear up in the corridor to avoid this sort of disruption to guests. However, this didn't worry me too much as you more or less expect it given the nature of the hotel.

Directions to the hotel, provided by the property and the limited signage in the terminal was confusing. The hotel is located on 5th floor of Terminal 2 - no confusion about that. But, there are 2 towers that comprise the "5th floor" that do NOT connect. So, it matters very much which elevator you use from the 3rd floor. I suggest you confirm with the property whether they are in the North or South tower. I believe the elevator closest to check-in counter 22/24 is the correct one but I was there after midnight and a bit stressed so I won't swear to it. After I found the hotel, everything went very smoothly.

The transit hostel was very comfy. I love how everything is so well-organized, from shoe lockers, lock management, and they have strict rules about noise. The bathroom was very nice, very clean and have separated sections between shower and toilets. The shower room deserve a mention bcs they are spacious and wellthought. The toilet can be cleaner tho bcs I saw something that I was not really happy seeing, but that’s my bad luck 😂 The staffs are nice and fluent in english, which helps a lot. Wifi was working very well. The bed was also very comfy that I slept really well. Clean bedsheets, thick blanket, and good lighting. They provide enough socket, small table, small mirror, hanger, and a small box with lock. Thumbs up for the well-thought facililty. For the payment, they accept credit card but also accept cash. If you need atm, there is one nearby! The location was actually strategic, surrounded by the foodcourt area and near minimart. However it was on 5th floor which were a bit far from arrival gate and a bit confusing. I had to ask around. But it was okay!
